    I would just get them to throw some new intake gaskets on it and be done with it, I haven't ever seen any after market intake manifolds for the 96-98 cobras.

Our local mustang tuner confirmed it and gave me the option of a mark viii engine with low miles installed for 2 thousand or to do a complete rebuild for 5500...

    ok thats were it was hurting then because my 60s were 2.1-2.2 the track did feel slick but i worry that slicks would just bog it down ?

    On my 94 I had to unplug my iac completely and create a vac. leak to get my car to idle it had similar symptoms.

    Yeh thats the code number, It's weird I can clear it and it will stay off for a day or two and then when you hear something kick on it pops back on

    Ok someone tell me if this sounds right. My 97 cobra has a bbk throttle body, blassani x pipe, flowmasters, bbk cai, 4.10 gear, good falken azenis (315/30-18), and a sct tune. Pretty much all of the bolt-ons and 42k on the clock. I thought it felt pretty quick on the street at least comparable...

    Ok yeah I know about the tune but do you tap and drill into the plastic. Also I never pulled a 4.6 so were is the best place to hoist the engine, and any pointers for a first timer.
