    I only got to maybe 95 or so when I was n/a, and that was downhill. According to my (probably inaccurate) stock tach and an RPM calculator, I did 110 the night before my car got hit, but that was with the turbo. Brian

    How strict are they? If the car is in a good state of tune and has a cat, you should be okay to pass the sniffer. Dunno if they inspect in TX or not. Brian

    It might be related to the ignition module, but your tach is probably busted. Mine did the same thing, even after I did the turbo swap (no more DIS module). Swapped in another stock tach and it works great now. Brian
