    Front Mount Intercool Kits...Checking Interest...

How's this tubing going to be routed? I mostly see either 90* off the outlet and back parallel to the IC, then 90* up and 90* to the TB, or 45* off the outlet and up (different ways) to the TB. Brian

    Front Mount Intercool Kits...Checking Interest...

Couplers and clamps would probably help, so let's assume they're included. These are gonna be mandrel bent as well, right? I think I can get my buddy to powdercoat them for free or cheap since I helped him move his 5000lb powdercoating oven last week. :D Brian

How'd they know you had a Lightning? It wasn't even there. Brian

    Front Mount Intercool Kits...Checking Interest...

I just posted this on TF, but assuming I can reasonably afford it, I'm in for NPR tubing as soon as you get it done. Keep us posted. :nice: Brian

2.3t install in old stang or non stang?

Merkur engine harnesses are completely separate from the rest of the car's wiring, so they're basically a standalone. Brian

    2.3T most popular swap?

A couple of buddies and I are sorta looking for a project car for GRM '06, and it'll be 2.3T powered for sure. I think enough people have done it that it's being considered a viable powerplant now. Brian

    Long tubes on a 4cyl K-member????

Yes, you're good to go. The guy who sold you the car is an idiot. Brian

    2.3t Plymouth?

Kinda like Flanders' '41 Ford. I like old cars with unique modern performance a lot more than old cars with old performance. Brian

Did the 5-lug conversion, a few notes.

So you spent $120 on new axles (a part that rarely has anything wrong with it from the junkyard) but kept the dangerously ineffective 4-cyl front brakes? I'm questioning your wisdom here. Glad to hear it went smoothly for you anyway. Brian

    Need help removing bolt....

Any parts store. Distortion - I wouldn't be cranking on a torque wrench to break a bolt loose, not if I wanted accurate torque readings in the future. Brian

    5 Bolt swap. Spindles etc.

Just toss the rotors and calipers onto your '94 and call it good, you don't need anything else. Brian

    Need help removing bolt....

PB Blaster kicks ass for that kind of thing. Torch it if that's not enough. Brian

I'll keep an eye out for it. The goofy hat shouldn't be hard to find. ;) Brian

More Q's from the 2.3 noob

They can, but not with SN95 swaps. You'd have to use North Racecar caliper brackets for Ranger axles. Brian

More Q's from the 2.3 noob

I put SN95 rear discs on my stock 7.5. All the bolts and mounts are identical to an 8.8. Brian

Doesnt somebody sell a shaker hood for the 87-93 mustang?

I think they look gay on Foxes. Good on New Edge cars, and I'm not sure I've ever seen one on an SN95, but they just don't fit the lines of the Fox, IMO. Brian
