    Opinions: Mustang's worst feature

Pet peeves I forgot in last post: those outside mirrors-yes they are too big, but how about painting them and even the cheapest econobox has breakaway mirrors; that antenna is pretty ugly and way too large. But when your girl looks so hot every morning it's easy to overlook a lot of small...

What are you guys paying for insurance?

48/no tickets or accidents $705/yr for GT Vert w/ Progressive I heard that ford worked w/ ins cos during production to keep premiums down. It seems to have worked.

    Opinions: Mustang's worst feature

I love those seats, but I'm 6'5". I can see how vertically challenged drivers might find fault w/ the seating. Pet peeves: no trunk release; engine bay looks bargain basement; stereo is weak & no satellite radio available; turn signal alarm; air bag on steering wheel too big. Conclusion...

    Post Pics of Your Mustang

Yeah-I like the spoiler on the Saleen; I have a gt vert w/ no spoiler, and that is the look I would like to have instead of the wing.

GAME: who has the most problems with 05?

05 GT Vert; prod date: 05-05; 1400 miles Manuf problems: electric window drive replaced Dealer problems: ordered spoiler delete, but it came w/ spoiler; dealer tried to force me to take it, but they did the right thing--spoiler gone now Many pleasant surprises; very few unpleasant...

    test Drive

Pliskin-the key here is that you're paying for it. It's potentially dangerous for any age driver who is incompetent to have 300 hp to throw around. I doubt many stang owners of any age will blow their engine, as some of your friends did, if they paid for the car. It's rental car...

    Mustang Stories

Heartfelt thanks to Twofocused, Johnnygreen, and Militarymustang for your service to our country. My 05 vert is my 4th stang. Last one was back in 86, and I have had a few fun cars in between, but the new stang represents so many different things to so many owners it is hard to zero in on...

    test Drive

Sanctus-you sound like a great kid, but your success in school and on the football field do not entitle you to anything in my book. Since when do you get rewarded for doing the basics in school or playing a game that you love? You're supposed to be playing football because you like it...

    test Drive

The kid does have a point about maturity and age not being mutually exclusive. I think a more important point about car ownership at a young age is how much 'sweat equity' the kid has in it. Give a kid any car that he hasn't earned at least a part of the cost of and you have the potential for...

    Got ran off the road!

Just remember the a-hole never knows he's an a-hole; the terrible driver never thinks he's a terrible driver no matter what havoc he has just created. The reason I mention that is we all want to try to make that a-hole aware of what he has just done regardless of what (headache; tickets) it...

New wheels & springs on 05 convertible (pics)

That is my car...w/o the lowered ride. That look is so sweet, even w/o the bigger wheels. Do you bottom out bad? What about handling vs ride harshness?

alright, someone messed up my hood....think i should get this ?

I love that hood 2003gt. I'm not a big fan of in your face racer boy look, but that hood looks muscle w/o kicking sand. It looks like the hood on the concept verts that came out in advance of the 05's. I wonder if it would look good w/o the rest of the street scene lower skirt.

    Black Paint

I agree w/ Makoto-black is awesome, but not so practical as a daily driver unless you own a detailing business. I have redfire, but wish I had tungsten gray. In my experience that color looks great and looks cleaner longer than any other color.

    More than meets the eye...

I have an idea...why not wear your seatbelt!? It will only save your life. I won't let a passenger ride in my car w/o wearing seatbelts. I'm liable for them going thru the windshield while I stay in my seat buckled in. Jenn-your question about the seatbelt chimes in the backseat? I don't...

    Ordered my 06 today,Have a question?

It doesn'r really matter whether he's dishonest or incompetent does it? When I ordered mine I got the usual paper work w/ prices, but I also got a purchase order w/ prices that included my down payment that I signed. This is supposed to protect x-plan buyers from price increases while you wait.

    Vandalism On A Mustang GT...

Wow-those teenage jackals have some very bad karma to pay for. I may be in the minority, but if I had a teenager that did something like that and I knew about it...Paying for the damage would only be the start of his punishment. Seriously, if you can id them it would be worth it to at...

    More bombs in London

Sawman-I feel the same frustration as you. I have heard some Muslim leaders here in the US condemn the bombings, but it isn't near enough. The British bombers for the most part were home grown Muslim Brits who had benefitted from the western democratic society they lived in. Yet they felt the...
