    Weird Question

    Some one told me a trick about gears becuase Ihad the same problem when I bought my car used.... In third gear go 56 mph...whatever your Tach reads is what gears you have...it actually works too!!!

    :nice: Depends on which bulbs you get. If you go to www.showparts.com they have a nice kit for the mustang which includes 2 Xenon bulbs for the headlights and foglights for 28 bucks. A pretty good deal

    Same thing happened to me, however it was not the bulb or the relay that was shot. It was actually a few of the wires that connect into the bulb housing were actually loose. I would definitly check that out, becuase when I brought it back to the dealer they had to replace the whole housing.

    I have thte Y2K Eibach springs on my car...lowered the car about an 1.25" all around and I love the stance.     Not sure what you are trying to do with your car or what kinda shocks you want to get, but based on those prices if there is only a $100 difference between the tokico and the koni...get the Koni's. They are supposed to be the best

    Only problem I have had with my speed cal is when I installed it incorrectly. Otherwise it has performed flawlessly. TriblackCobra (spelling??) is on Stangnet, and he is the person who actually designed the Speedcal, he usually picks these threads up quickly...if you have no luck PM me I have...

    No, but that is where I will go to get the keys. I actually bought the car from Nasar Ford in Lawernce...they suck the most...Drum hill is a short walk from where I live so if my key's are not at the Lowell Brewery I'll have to get my walkin shoes on Side note: I need to do the seatbelt thing...

    Yes they will fit, I have a set of 15x7 wheels which came off of a V6 mustang which i use for the Winter..they fit fine, no problem's what-so-ever

    Chassis stiffening questions...

    Not to jack the thread but the previous owner installed Subframes which are not full lenght...they are the normal BBK ones. How big of an ordeal would it be to switch these out, and whast the big differences between the two :shrug:

    speedo re-calibration after gear install

    You will want the SpeedCal. The advantage of the speedcal is you can adjust it for future changes to your car like if oyu get different wheels, tires or other gears in the car. All you have to do is just flip a few dip switches.

    Definitly get the Black Smoked lenses...those will make the car look a lot cleaner and bring out some of the lines on the front of the car EDIT: Don't want to jack your thread...can you post up a pic of your car...I really want to see how the chrome bullits look in 18x9. Thanks, or PM me.

    Traction Control off

    ALWAYS turn TC off when you are racing, it cuts fuel when the wheels begin to spin. At track youwill not be able to heat up the tires at all with TC on

    The Bullit wheel in most people opinion fits the 99 and up mustang perfectly. IMO I think these wheels are some of the best looking wheels you can put on our mustang's becuase it does not take away from teh body lines. 17x8 really don't do our cars justice...so its taking a good thing..and...

    I actually just ordered a set of Michelin Artic Alpins yesterday becuase I was too late and no one had anything in stock... Your best bet is to do what i did...buy a set of used wheels off a V6 mustang or something... I bought the 15X7 wheels off a v6 mustang and ordered 225/60/15 Michelin...
