Want to know all about Aluminum Driveshafts

The FRPP unit is a little lighter and balanced better than the stocker. It's a quick bolt on, and it reduces clunkiness some, but does not COMPLETELY eliminate it. For 200 bucks it was worth it I'd say. Wade

    CARFAX on an S2000 please?

Hah, awesome. Keep in mind that 2000-2001 it had a plastic rear window, whereas 2002+ has glass. The nice thing about the 2000-2001 is the red/black interior. The 2002+ also has a little bit smoother syncros. Let me know how you like it, Wade

    CARFAX on an S2000 please?

w.neurauter I've spent thousands on suspension and weight reduction for the mustang, and it's a pretty good all around car. However, the Pre-2004 s2000 comes stock with 240hp, its 2800 pounds, 50/50 balancing, 6 speed manual, 0-60 under 6 sec, 1/4 mile under 14 sec, and 9,000 RPM redline. Its...

Subwoofer Cuts in and Out - Amp Issue??? PLZ HELP!

Hey, My sub started to cut in and out, especially when I turn the volume on my headunit over ~15 (not that loud for my system). I don't blast my sub, and I've checked and double checked all connections. Is my amp broken? The "engine bay fuse" is fine. Does it need a new internal fuse? I...

    What's a good suspension setup?

H&R Race or SuperRace, Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates, with Bilstein Struts/Shocks would be one good combo IF you want to do it right. I bought the bullitt suspension kit and ripped it off after a year - more of a stock replacement than a very noticable upgrade. Wade

    285/40-18 or 285/35-18

I have 275/35/18's on 18x9's. BFG G-Force Sports.. Ride quality is just fine. 285/40/18 is way too tall, will make your car slower (unless you are supercharged), and will mess up your speedo. Wade

    spring choices

for good ride quality and handling characteristics, try H&R Race springs (don't drop as low as SS) w/ Bilstein dampers.

    staggered tires on 18s

I run 265/35/18 front and 275/35/18 back. I highly recommend the BFG G-Force Sport tires. They run a little wider than some, and have excellent traction for the money.

Can the "dogbone" be removed after aluminum d/s?

Also known as "Moose Nuts." I removed mine after FRPP Alum Driveshaft.. no vibration issues.

    Rear Control Arms?

Gotcha. My car has Zero vibration from the rear. I'd definately check what you have listed above. Good luck W

    Rear Control Arms?

When cruising at idle i sometimes hear a FAINT creaking sound from the rear when going over uneven roads. The stock suspension and CA's probably made more squeaking sounds tho. squares98, do you have this setup.. I'm curious how you know this is "alot noisier" configuration. Wade

Suspension clunk and steering rack bushings

Correct. No need for offset bushings in the stock K-member. I replaced my steering rack bushings in efforts to get rid of a front end creaking noise.. Paid 40 bucks for MM aluminum bushings and 40 bucks install + alignment (40 bucks). Wade

spark plugs ? reg vs plat

As was already mentioned. Coppers have a hotter spark. Autolite's are $1.39 per plug. Its pretty simple to change your own spark plugs and it only cost about $13 every 30,000 miles. Let us know if you have any more questions. Just to mention, I had a shop tell me that platinums start to lose...
