    wow, i am dumb, you can't have vacuum with the engine off, so now i did my fuel pressure with the engine running and low and behold, makes about a 6 psi delta when you put on or take off the vacuum line. so now the fuel pressure is for sure set right, but car is still having problems. sorry...

    also, just on my mind just now is that when i test the fuel pressure, i get the same reading whether or not the vacuum hose is on or off the fuel pressure regulator. is that normal? i have 24 lb injectors running at stock 39 psi fuel pressure.

    sensor is a year old and yes, it does run to the heater core (a vintage "under-dash" heater, not stock). Edelbrock RPM Performer II upper and lower intake.

    well, i redid the KOER test with a fully heated up car....still got the 21. see attached pic of how the ECT sensor is rigged up.

    yah, i tried the KOER 6 months ago and it wouln't do squat....will give this a try...also, maybe i should have mentioned, i gutted out all the A/C 'cause it didn't work, and i like having sweaty balls while i drive :). maybe something needs to be done with a loose end there somewhere/how too...

    K, well, the ECT isn't the problem then, cause it is in coolant flow....here are the codes i pulled with key on, engine off: 67 O: Manual Lever Position sensor out of range or A/C input high 95 O: Fuel pump secondary circuit failure 29 C: Insufficient input from Vehicle Speed Sensor...

    going to pull the codes and see, also, i did put in a new coolant temp sensor....i have a jimmy-rigged heating system and so the coolant temp sensor is rigged up and suspended in-line two heater/coolant hoses (does it need to make metal ground-contact with the car maybe?)

    jumpy idle

    me again well, i reset the TPS and it read .94, ran the car, and then it read .955, ran it again without touching anything, and now it reads .971. so at least that looks good, but the idle surge is really bad yet and just hard to run the car even with the IAC plugged in.
