    Banging sound from rear of car

    I added the 4 oz. bottle of friction modifer when I refilled it, the rear end is good to go. The single bang I hear is only once in a while and when I am still on the brakes at a red light. Thanks for al the input so far, keep the ideas coming.

    So I take it that the bolt fell into the waterjacket in the head? Have you tried vacuuming it out with a shop vac?

    That is what my car is doing but it is completley random and only does one bang at a stoplight once in a while, then it won't do it again for a few days:bang: I took the cover off the rear differential today and everything checked out okay:shrug:

    Hello folks, my car has been giving me a little problem lately. My car has the AODE transmission FYI. Anyhow every once in a while when I am at a stoplight I will get one bang that is coming from the rear of the car, any ideas?

    I would have if I would have caught them, there are a bunch of a-ho's where I live, I don't know why but there just is. My town is full of the most high strung crackhead people you will ever meet, at times it is almost like the wild west.

    Hello all, I had some lowering springs laying around so I put them on today, I am going to have to trim a little off of the back springs but all in all I am happy with the way it turned out. The pics are of me and my wifes summertime cruiser and it is nowhere near as nice as alot of the rides on...

    GT40 intake VS Edelbrock 5.0 performer

    I love my Cobra intake but I would have to say to keep what you have, the Edelbrock is a great intake and suits your combo just fine.

    Some how I think if I flip my car it wouldn't turn out very well:rolleyes: Pokageek , what brand of roll bar would you recommend and why do you think the styling bar would make the car more unsafe than it already is:shrug:
