    Will stock motor benifit 1.7 rollers?

    I have read in a few mags that putting 1.7's on stock heads with weak springs can be a pretty bad combo. I would just save them for when you get a set of heads. Even a set of gt40 heads with 1.7's is the same setup ran on the cobra's. Good luck

    Thanks for the great info i think when i deleted my smog pump i also took that off not knowing what it was.. But i saved everything so i'll be putting it back on. Thanks again for the fast reply and the extra knowledge.. :nice:

    Not to worried about it but figured I'd ask... My check engine light comes on under hard exceloration. Around 4,500 to 5,500 rpms it comes on till i let out of the throttle. Some times it doesn't do it at all and i never see it during normal driving. Car runs great other wise. Anyone have any...

    I'm sure you probably didn't but its worth a shot. Did you change your thermostat? Could it be in backwards? I had a buddy do that one time and it turned into a much bigger problem down the road.     question- i have a five lug conversion but have a stock 89 master cylinder brakes work but pedal feels like crap, a freind had told me to use a sn95 master cylinder. Is this true?
