Suspension kit installation complete (pretty long).

good post, since I've been looking into complete suspension kits like that myself. give it some times for the springs to settle, and if you want to go lower I would do the Shelby drop. my car has the shelby drop thanks to the PO and it sits pretty low, not sure about any specs on my springs. pics??

SOUNDPROOFING--TO DYNAMAT OR NOT TO DYNAMAT?

I am interested in this as well because I'm planning on lining my car with Dynamat this fall when I redo my interior and was wondering if there are any alternatives to Dynamat and what kind of experiences everyone has had with each product.

Alternators - Paperformance 3G, PowerMaster, or?

I ordered a 140 amp Powermaster alt. from Summit Racing but have not gotten around to installing it yet, so I don't know how it will perform but installation looks really easy and it's a good way to clean up some wiring. I'll let you know how it goes once I install it.

    Can someone post a pic

you don't need the shroud to go that far in, it only works when the fan is half in and half out of the shroud. I will try to post a pic and some measurements of my '65 engine bay tommorow.

Any Young Mustang owners out there??????

I'm 17, have had my car for about 4 months now. Some of the best advice I got on here was from someone who said to enjoy driving the car for a while before you completely tear it apart. I've been driving it daily for a couple weeks now that the weather is beautiful so I haven't had a chance to...

I'm pretty sure MustangsPlus carries some carbon fiber products... http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=MPFMP&Category_Code=carbon_kevlar I haven't heard anything about them but they better be good enough to stand up to those prices. As for your plans for the...

I have a 600 cfm Edelbrock and an ol school Torker intake (horrible for daily driving!) but am switching over to a Perfomer RPM and keeping the same carb.

    radiators

I'm running a four core copper rad. which the previous owner put in and I have never had any overheating problems. However, I have a mostly stock 289 and a flex-a-lite fan with shroud and if I were to do it again I would opt for an aluminum, both for looks and better cooling capacity.

Saw "Tucker: A Man and His Dream" today.

I saw it a couple months back. I really liked the movie, it's crazy how ahead of his time Preston's vision for the car industry was and how of the original 51 cars built there are still 47 around.

Got a few little things done

What size is that tach? It looks pretty natural mounted there (not like most monster 5" tachs which completely block the rest of the dash) and I am still deciding between saving up the money for a JME bezel or sticking on a small tach like that and a 3-gauge cluster under the dash.

    Best Rust Remover????

The only one I have experience is POR15 and I love it. I used it to repaint my trunk after sanding off most of the rust and it's holding up really good. I used the Super Starter Kit and it covered about half the trunk and I plan on buying a quart later in the the year to finish up the trunk and...
