    '04 Cobra SVT Cold Air Intake

    I've got a JLT cai and love it. It outperformed my old DC buy a bunch with my dyno results being on his website. My dyno is right after Jay's (second) under his wetbsites dyno results. IMO, his kits are the best looking as well.

    Cold Air Intake

    My JLT cold air wasn't difficult at all to install. Of course I had help from the wife so being that it was a two person job, it definitely helped. Servicing the filter isn't hard as long you raise the car up and remove the tire to gain easy access to the filter. Might just take a little time.

    I love it and love the color. I tell ya, if Ford can't fix the stall problem in my 03 Cobra, I may down grade in hp to one these bad boys until the next Cobra comes out. Very tempting for me. Regardless, it's going to be hard not getting one seeing them on the road come this fall.

    First off, excellent choice for color. As far as mods go, like trents99 said above, shifter, cai, and cat-back are good choices. Hopefully with these mods, you might be able to keep your warranty if that concerns you. Headers were mentioned above but from what I've read they don't offer...

    Feels like I lost alot of HP down low.

    My first mod was a cai (Densecharger) and sotp gains were next to nothing. I then put on my Steeda cat-back and the sopt gains were big, from down low to up high. Like UM said, it shouldn't lose any power with those mods since the parts you are replacing are probably the biggest restrictions...

    I don't get heated up over magazine articles but your response was right on the money. It's obvious they didn't drive the hell out of that Cobra. Of course if they didn't put forth max effort with the Cobra, did they with the WRX? Meaning, perhaps the WRX could have gone a bit quicker as well.

    03 Cobra Blower sounds

    This Eaton is so much quieter than my old centrifugal blower, the XB-1. I can't believe people think it's loud. At idle or WOT, I couldn't hear myself think with my old blower car. The Eaton makes a very nice mellow sound.
