    Who has the most???

I've got 5,2XX since I bought it on 29 March 03. I purposely put 1,000 on it quickly to break it in but since I have a daily driver, I don't have to drive it at all during the work week. However, having it sit in the garage is just a waste so those extra 4,000 miles were put on for the fun...

    Very impressed! MGW+pro 5.0

I too finally went with the MGW grip in addition to my Pro-5.0. I should have done it much sooner. I don't have such a long reach anymore. Much easier.

    Steeda vs Magnaflow

I run the Steeda cat-back (Borla) and love it. Not to loud or obnoxious and it has that nice rumble on decel. Also top quality with no fitment issues. Of course I came from a Mustang using both Dynomax and Mac so just about anything is an improvement in quality and sound.

    05 GT vs 04 Cobra

I love the new looks of the 05 but like someone said above, if HP is the most important item to you, then the Cobra for sure. Also, not every 03/04 Cobra has quality problems. Quality wise, mine has been great.

    '03 Cobra dyno #'s

It doesn't cost $1000 for tuning or at least shouldn't. Not sure if injectors and intank or external fuel pump would cost a $1000 either. I say to each their own. A sc or turboed Mach is different and definitely a kick in the pants. A properly tuned car should hopefully last a while under...

    '03 Cobra dyno #'s

If you read the article, they stated it was on a mustang dyno, thus the lower numbers. The guy who owns that particular Mach has posted over at SVTPerformance. He is running 10psi with an x-pipe, cat-back and I believe dynoed about 430rwhp on a dynojet. He ran an 11.9@120 with that set-up...

03 cobra going on dyno. I have ?????

Exactly! What I just said...I mean what UM just said  Dyno numbers are just numbers on paper while track numbers are where the bragging rights are. Damn I need some track times :nonono:

03 cobra going on dyno. I have ?????

I agree with UM. Also, I never try to ice or cool off my car when arriving. I'm looking for more real world numbers right off the street. If you're looking for bragging rights, then let the car cool for a while, maybe trying ice on the blower to help cool it between runs.

    Buying a mustang

I'm a mustang guy at heart though I love the looks and performance of the C5 Vette as well. When I bought my Cobra, I could have afforded a new C5 (not z06) but I love power adder cars and I also need 4 seats. With sc cars, small mods equal big gains and it would have taken a bit more to get a...

    03 cobra Upgrade pullie?

I run the 2.93 pulley from SFPHQ and I'm probably one of the few running no chip or Predator tune as well. I do use the Afterburner eFPC though since it allows me to fine tune my air-fuel in 400rpm increments. The biggest issue with this set-up is it cost the same amount of a chip but doesn't...

    Pullied/Chiped 03 Cobra or Built 94/95

I've done the air intake, pulley and exhaust on the Cobra. The car drives and idles great. Not one tuning issue. I didn't go for a chip but used the Afterburner Electronic Fuel Pressure Controller to fine tune my air-fuel to keep it safe under the extra boost offered by my pulley. I...

    Pullied/Chiped 03 Cobra or Built 94/95

I went from what I think was a well modified 95 GTS to an 03 Cobra. My 95 had your basic h/c/i (Cobra/GT-40Y) with a Powerdyne XB-1 pushing 11-13lbs of boost. I had some major tuning issues with the car which was one of the reasons I sold it but the new owner apparently fixed it and dynoed...

How much is insurance on your 03 Cobra?

Wow! I have USAA as well and I pay $386 every 6 months, full coverage. I'm 33 with no tickets or accidents (knock on wood).

    Ugh... Makes me sick.

In reality, the current Cobra makes around 415-420bhp. IMO, I would just love to see them bolt-on the GT twin-screw Eaton for more effecient boost. From what I hear, the aftermarket twin-screw is already in works for the 03-04 cobra so it might be easy enough to bolt-on to the new Cobra. I...

2003 Cobra 3.10" Steeda pulley question

When I ran my 3.2" pulley, my air-fuel from 2500rpm to 4000rpm was a bit high, IMO. Started at 14:1 and slowly dipped to 12.3:1 or so. After 4000rpm, it dropped to below 10:1 by 6000rpm. I then swapped it out for a 2.93" where the air-fuel was unacceptably high. It seems I'm one of the few...

Dilemma...what to buy? 2005GT vs. used 03 Cobra?

I think that's a tough decision. I for one love the new looks of the 05 Mustang but it's definitely hard to beat 400hp out of the box. I love having the parts to back of the power from the factory. My old supercharged 95 had plenty of power but lacked so much in terms of supporting hardware...

    2005 Blower?s

I have no doubt the 05 with a supercharger will put out some great numbers but a well tuned Kenne Bell 03 Cobra with some of the extra's can be 550+rwhp. Hell, my old supercharged 95 h/c/i would walk my 03 even as it sits. Older technology but still potent. I just want to see what the new...

    2005 Blower?s

Unless of course that 03 Cobra already has a nice Kenne Bell set-up or the C5 also has a nice sc or turbo set-up :) All I know is the moding to my 03 Cobra is pretty much done since in two years I'm anticipating a new 06 Cobra replacing it. I think Vortech will be the first and Powerdyne...
