    i got a use c&l meter (i'm trying it don't laugh) and it is suppose to be for 24lb. injectors. but i can't see a blue color on it or a part number. how do you know what sample tube is in there? it looks like it would be a clear one to me but i don't know i have never seen either one?

    i am meaning the body molding that goes all the way around the car. mine is black not the same color as my car. i was thinking about paint that molding kinda like a 89 saleen scc car but i won't have the ground effects. like in the picture but i would paint mine to match the color of my cobra r's.

    i didn't think my fan was causing me a problem either but try opening your hood when it acts up next time and see if it clears up. i started mine with the hood closed and the idle would surge. opened the hood and it was fine. i put a shield on the one side of the filter and it cleared everything up.

    try clocking the meter. that's what i did to get mine to idle right on start up.

    i might be wrong but the cobra meter is setup for 19lb. injectors, not 24lbs. i think the tune for the 24lb. injectors is in the cobra computer i pretty sure i have read that a time or two.

    Help me create the "Surging Idle Checklist"

    well i am still have idle problems again. i only seem to have a problem on start up. every time i start my car, cold or hot, it will surge from 1500 to 500 almost dying. i don't understand why it suddenly started this but can a vacuum leak cause this? it runs and idles fine after say 3 or 4...
