    HELP!!! offset rack bushing install

thats the tie rod, yeah hammers and tie rods arent exactly a good couple. there is a tool for that, and will not mess up your parts. like i said before maybe only a boot. if you change your tie rods you will have to have a alignment.

    -vaccumm elimination../.searched..

i have already searched and found most of the answers that i am looking for. however i want to go ahead and get rid of all those vaccumms on the passenger side and silonoids. i do not have my egr delete or simulator, i can see why it would be any problem to delete all this and just plug the egr...

    HELP!!! offset rack bushing install

i found that a little slick um will help it out.yes right behind the rotors. i used a tie rod tool. you can usually get on at the hard store on loan. be sure to get new boots for the tie rods, odds are you will bust them. energysuspension makes some nice looking red ones. i picked mine up at...

racing at the drag strip for the first time

taking the wing off could not possibly help enough to warrant the work, plus you look better when you miss out on that .001 of a second. i agree just run the car like it is. my times are horrible because of lack of experience, and i still run very generic street rubber. i would think that the...

    parts indentifacation...searched but nothing

ok let me apolagize in advance if this becomes long winded. i am in the process of hiding the wires on the passenger side. there are two (im guessing sensors or maybe relays that are right below the MAF on the side of the fender. what are these, what purpose do they serve, or do i need them...

    HELP!!! offset rack bushing install

i am not sure that moving the wheel was a good idea at that point, but maybe no harm. i swapped mine not to long ago, and had trouble getting it back up. although i did not try a jack. what i did was take the tie rods lose and that allowed it to have the slack i needed to get it up. maybe that...

port match EGR spacer to intake?

i think maybe velocity a little but it looks like you still have the stock heads, i hear they are pretty restictive anyway. hope to get mine ported soon. i am not sure that any adjustment would be worth the time if you plan to get a larger throttle body in the future, and dont we all.

port match EGR spacer to intake?

if it is stock should be matched, if you go larger then i would say yes. stock parts were a great fit on my buddys Trick flow, no matching till he bought the 70mm. my experience

Will a Crane HI-6 ignition work for me?

msd sells a distributor that runs with your stock system but will also accept a ignition control later on. when the car hits the rev limiter it is going to start a almost like dying symptom, probably not good at launch. i want to get rid of my limiter. just a thought

when is the BBK 5.0 intake manifold coming out??

sure it would be more around the mid 400.00 if the rails were not included, a good set of rails are not exactly cheap, at least with that deal you know that you get a nice clean fitment. assuming that the intake is worth having that is.

when is the BBK 5.0 intake manifold coming out??

at 579.00 including the rails i would say that is a great price.

when is the BBK 5.0 intake manifold coming out??

the article does not say anything about emissions except that it does metion that the EGR tucks under the intake for a clean look. so i assume with provisions for the EGR and being a direct replacement stock bottom end 5.0 that there should be no problems with legallity. any one else got any...

    offset rack bushings

they are pretty easy, of course i did mine when i put the springs on. so having the endlink lose was a plus. i have known a couple of people that did not change them at all and never had a problem. i was told by the guy that does my alignments to get it aligned right away then come back in...

    header install

your hangers for the hpipe should have some room to move forward, if you will disconnect the h from the tailpipe flanges. i had no problem with mine but i know that there is room for forward movement. also maybe i overlooked it but are you doing equal length or unequal. i hear that equal is a...

i may be the only person who has experienced this but not only should you check the header bolts after the intial run but also after about a week and then again in about another week. i put mine on ran it down the road, retightened waited a week then retightened again. never checked on them...

Exhuast: All at once, or piece by piece?

all at once. without a doubt. i used BBK products and am happier with them than i was my bassani. and they are cheap. headers and h-pipe are easy to install, save the money.

    front coil spring install

ok this is what that i did after dealing with it the hard way for awhile. went to home depot. got a pack of zip ties. the really large ones for air conditioning duct work. compressed the springs. (i used the outer type compressers from the hardware store) i then used about four of these...
