    Meziere water pump questions

    I'm not sure about how much the water pump will gain you power wise. As far as cooling it will supply about the same circulation as your current pump. But those nasty knock sensors will eat up the power. I would find a SCT dyno tuner. Do a custom tune on your car and have the knock sensors...

    Yup most of which if you are a car person you check and replace these items on a regular basis. My car has 41,000 miles on it and all of the above items have been changed at least once.

    I see what you are saying about your dynos. I would wonder why my car was only making . at . rpm But then again if you are making . torque then seems to be ok too? :scratch:

    Ok. I have gotten the lowdown on the tranny situation. tremec does make a 5 speed that will handle the abuse. The TKO500 is a 10 spline transmission based on a 3550 and is rated at 500 LBS of TQ. The same transmission is available in a 26 spline version that is the exact same transmission...

    i have seen as much as 30 RWHP form a dyno tune. So i would say do it unless you have plans for you car in the NEAR future. And even if you do most dyno guys will griv you a break on re-burn

    I would just head to a good dyno tunner. I had problems with knock that wasn't there and the ecu was pulling timming at hig rpm's. 1 dyno tune later and the car pulls hard all the way to redline.
