    I just bolted an IRS into my 00GT. I used my GT e-brake cable. I got some "P" brackets that hold the e-brake cable to the lower arm perfect.

    alignment?

    Are the specs out of alignment or the tires wearing on the outer edge after the alignment? My only thought would be a bad wheel bearing causing the wheel to have play in/out.

    You may want to try adjusting your clutch with the stock quad first. If not, install an adjustable quadrant (leave the stock cable).

    I did my clutch change myself with a friend with the car on jackstands. The top two bolts are not that bad. Neither is the starter if you have a friend to help. There are a couple of tips/tricks for the top two bolts. If I remember correctly, it took us 4 hours. We were not in a hurry.

    I think it would be pretty hard to overtighten 250 ft-lb (I believe that is what it called for), unless you have a 2+ foot breaker bar. Plus, you should be using a torque wrench.

    Another option is the FRPP 11" upgrade cobra clutch (upgrade for 99/01 cobras). You need a 99-00 GT for the kit, which includes clutch, TOB, PP, and new flywheel (8 bolt) for under $200.

    If you go with mid-lengths or long tubes, you have to change the midpipe. I have BBK ceramic LT with BBK catted H pipe (short H pipe). No fitment problems and no leaks. The only downside is if you have to remove the tranny.

    I did LTs on my 00GT vert about 2 years ago. I also replaced the clutch the month prior to installing LTs for reasons already mentioned. I'll confirm that the install is not complex, just very time consuming. I dropped the K member and used the fnsweet instructions.

    T-45 has a .67 5th gear ratio. 3650 has .62 I believe.

    It was my local SVT dealer and it was $189. I had found it online for $160ish + shipping. Got it local. It's been over a year now.

    I went with the FRPP 11" cobra upgrade clutch kit (8 bolt flywheel), (Not an 03/04 kit). The clutch was an upgrade kit for 99/01 I believe. Got the flywheel, clutch, plate, and TOB for about $160 I believe.

    Mileage

    I get 24 on all hiway with LTs, catted midpipe, catback, pulleys, timing, plenum, TB and 3.73s. City (suburb)/hiway is 21-22. 5spd and 111K miles.
