Keisler 'Perfect Fit' TKO 500 in a '66

The Richmond transmissions are an excellent choice for the person who likes to 'connect' with the car, more for the performance oriented driver. The T56 is more of a daily driver transmission that anyone can drive. They are both great transmissions. Are there more manual transmission...

Good luck even hooking up with 315/35/17...they will be useless under boost in the first three gears on the street. You will definately need slicks at the track. If you do go to the track, post when so I can make the trip! John

    another EFI swap.....95 cobra motor

Same motor, different front end accessory dress...so yes, you can swap the 87-93 stuff on. Dipstick is the same from 87-95, just need an alternator bracket up front. Why not just keep the 95 stuff for now?

Killer pricing on Richmond 5 Speed

I had a Doug Nash/Richmond 5-speed in one of my old cars and it didn't make noise like that. It was pro-shifted and probably the best shifting transmission I have ever driven. The sound while shifting was loud, but it was precise and solid and no clutch needed. :) I've even owned a Tremec, but...

mechanical water temp gauge - install question

Don't use the sending unit on the rear ports of the intake manifold, coolant doesn't flow through there, only the front ones. You will not get accurate readings from there. FYI

    Gas Tank Restoration

I don't believe that he is talking about a Fuel Safe fuel cell. Instead, he probably meant a JAZ or RCI fuel cell which is much cheaper.

    First Time Post/66 Mustang Help

I can't remember what size spacers I am running, they are either 1.25" or 1.5" spacers. I am running the 17" 05/06 wheels on my car. It looks like that is what you will need to get those tires to sit right. Good luck.

    CHEAP STANG OR A CROOK

It is definitely a scam! I had one of these guys thinking I was going to send them money for over two weeks. I would tell them that I sent the money via moneygram and they would get back with me saying that they couldn't find the payment. Then I would tell them that moneygram was unable to do...

Brake caliper leaks - your opinion please

the groove is supposed to be there to help the washer seat. I'm guessing that brass washers were supplied with the brakes? If they were, then they should be the correct size otherwise, find the correct size and try it again. Are you using the stock lines?

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

Upgrade the speakers in them as well as a reskin. I had them in a S-10 I used to own and I didn't like the way they sounded.
