    Need help with A/C drain

It's not leaking at the firewall. It's dribbling out of the drain outlet, running down the firewall, into the open hole and down the inside of the floorpan. When there is enough water coming out, it runs fast enough to clear the firewall and drip to the ground like it's supposed to. But...

    Need help with A/C drain

Hey guys. I posted this in the 2.3 forum, but I figured the A/C drain is th same between the two. I just picked up a 1993 LX 2.3 as a daily driver. I've noticed that the passenger floor pan is getting wet when the A/C is running. Upon further inspection, I found that the drain is working...

Need help with a couple of problems

Hey guys. First time posting in this forum. I've been a 5.0 guy for the last 7 years, but I just picked up a 1993 LX 2.3 as a daily driver. I've noticed that the passenger floor pan is getting wet when the A/C is running. Upon further inspection, I found that the drain is working as is...

    Best new MPG, it's possible

I'd believe 16.3 is achievable. I used to get 16-18 mpg in my 1994 GT.

    T5 problem

You have probably bent a shift fork. I'm trying to remember which gears use the same shift fork. Alot of times, when you lose reverse, you will also lose another gear (like 1st, etc). When I bent a shift fork in my T-45 (1996 GT) I lost reverse and 1st at the same time. It just wouldn't go...

    Reliability

The 5.0 is probably one of the most reliable engines around provided it is maintained and taken care of. A family friend of ours clocked over 330,000 on a Lincoln Towncar w/ 5.0 engine with normal maintenance and frequent oil changes. You will, however, be likely to replace accessories like...

How to take out factory radio?

There are little prong tools that you can buy at Best Buy or Circuit city that insert into the holes to release the tabs that hold them in. You might swing buy and ask them to borrow it to take it out. They can be a real PITA though.

Ever get into trouble with an O/R H or X pipe?

Never been caught after several years. Just because it has a o/r h-pipe or x-pipe doesn't mean it has to be loud. You can still drive it reasonably quiet if you try.

    What's the Problem??

Basically, unless you are a chinese midget with double joints, you will have to loosen and 1/2 remove the entire dash to get at the heater core which is located way up under the dash near the windshield. The part itself is less than $20-$30 but the labor is what is expensive. You can bypass it...

    cam choice?

Ditto for the Trick Flow Stage 1 camshaft. It's a good stick for the money, and is a good match to a slightly modded motor.
