    As some know my engine is shot in the stang. #6 piston ate the cylinder wall and somehow hit the head. Took a a pic of it this morning. Enjoy LOL

    As some know, im needig a new engine for the stang. ill be picking up a 5.0 explorer/mountaineer engine in a week or so, and i know some things need to be changed for it to work in my car. Does anyone know any links for the swap or any other information i might need to know before doing this...

    ever since ive had it, ive ran Castrol 5w30....... I just got the drivers side head off, and im a little worried.... The number 6 piston wall has some scaring on it, Its not deep but its deep enough to feel with your fingers. Also looks like the piston has dings in it where the scaring is...

    Yeah its hard and crusty, i started to dig in it a little bit but stopped, didnt want to have it fall in the bottom end. The heads are getting replaced, just curious as to what causes it.

    I took the upper and lower off my car in the process of changing the lower intake and heads. I get it off, and start looking at the lifter valley. On the passenger side of the valley theres big chunks of im guessing carbon buildup. Its so bad that the pcv port is clogged. How can i get this out...

    it idles fine when i first start it, but if i drive it say to the corner and stop it will die if i dont catch it. thanks for the reply... ive done some of those, i set the tps to .98 but did not reset the computer. ill try that in the morning. ill let you all know tomorrow.

    i found and fixed my vacuum leak and set the tps. idles great now. everytime i come to a stop it will die. doesnt sputter out or nothing. it will rev to about 1500 and die as the rpms drop. what could this be? it never done this with the huge vacuum leak. thanks in advance for any and all info.

    starter starts...but won't stop!!! need a little help here...

    sounds like the solenoid is stuck on the starter, same thing happened to mine.
