Thanks matt, i KNOW its not leaking THAT much, and i KNOW its not burning THAT much, i did a compression test not too long ago, and everything came up find, my car runs great, doesnt smoke AT ALL...i just cant figure out where all this oil is going?
So my low oil light came on, and i've already had to put 1 qt. in my engine and i changed the oil only 1300 miles ago. Its leaking some, but not that much, so i guess its burning a lot of oil...maybe the rings are bad, i know my front main and rear main leak but not 2 qts. every 3k miles. This sucks
there is a thing called Wheel Sealant, which is a wax made specificly for wheels. It repels brake dust and dirt, and makes cleaning a breeze. Although any good cleaner wax will work the same, and yes, I wax my stock waffle wheels 3-4 times a year with Meg's Gold Class.
Well, I kinda wanna get outta the mustang game for right now, i'm about to go to college and need to have something better on gas and reliable. I dont wanna hear "keep the stang" i just want some options on what to get next. And i'm not for sure getting rid of it, just been thinking about it...
i've looked into this for myself, i just hate doing my first job on my "good heads," i'd rather try it first on some old heads, then work on mine. I DID find some cutaway pictures of some GT-40p heads that showed how much you could port before you hit the waterjackets and stuff.
