    Any Stangs in VT?

Hi David! Wow. I can heartily agree with you. I have NEVER seen a Sunburst Gold Metallic Mustang. I actually had to look it up online to find out what it looked like! Just did the LMMCC Spring Cruise this weekend. Over 75 Mustangs cruisin' through Central CT. My round-trip mileage...

    v6 auto or manual...convertible/hardtop

Not everybody in snowy climates garages their ponys. Some even drive them in less than perfect weather. :D Hardtop also weighs less. SOHC

Correct tire PSI?? What do you guys run??

Sticker says 35PSI. Dealer set to 34PSI. Tries worn down in CENTER only. Dropping to 32PSI on next set. 90% highway driving. Wonder why they recommend 35? SOHC

    wheels...yes or no?

Nope. Too "high tech" for our "retro" ponys. The rims themselves aren't bad, just not on a new pony. SOHC

Technical Details For 7.5" T-LOK Install

I think my dealer was happier than me. He kept asking "Did you get the part yet?" After the install he asked "what are we doing next?" :D SOHC PS: they were not a Ford Racing Distributor before the mod. He is NOW a Ford Racing Distributor... LOL

    Please no laughing or ribbing......

My wife would probably sew her own. She knitted a "Sweater" for her PDA. I asked her if that was a hint that it was too cold in the office... :D SOHC

    Attention, I Love Attention.....

+10 Gotta keep the kids likin' domestic! Rolling up on a school bus on the highway last week... A couple kids in the back waved. I waved back and hammered the gas going 5th to 3rd... Well, the noise was impressive and my little pony flew like the wind. I could swear I saw the...

    Powered by Ford emblems

Just a little piece of retro history... These were on the Shelby's & Cobras in the day. Had "Powered by Ford" valve covers on my old 351... I think they look pretty spiffy. SOHC

    2005 front end rattle

There will soon be a TSB on this issue. Have your dealer check on this. According to Ford, this is "cosmetic" and not a structural/safety issue. There are many threads on this issue on several boards. I have it on my pony too. SOHC

    Exaust/Muffler Advice....

You said you want it "a lot louder". I don't think many people have access to a sound meter. As far as I know, the loudest exhausts systems are the full duals. Mine is 87dB at idle, stock is 64dB. That's 106x louder than stock. I don't think any single axleback can beat that. And...

    T-lok installation ?

Get the T-LOK. I would say DON'T do JUST the gears! You will then make your pony want to dig harder, but not have the traction to back up the increase in torque!!! You will just spin your wheels faster and harder than when stock! You will be sorry. Gotta go T-LOK. The gears are...

    T-lok installation ?

    The 7.5" axle can accept: 3.08 3.27 3.31 (stock 05-07) 3.45 3.73 4.10 4.11 4.56 The 4.11 & 4.56 gears need that "notched X pin" that everyone sees in the online catalogs. SOHC

    T-lok installation ?

Sounds like this dealer has never done axle work. Should take no more than 5 hours (they couldn't get my axle shafts unstuck as I had 38,000 miles on it when I did the T-LOK upgrade). More likely 3 for newer axles. Like I said in the PM yesterday, new bearings, friction modifier & gear...
