    It's the best snow/wet car I've ever driven. As long as the tires are good, it shouldn't have any trouble getting down an average unplowed street. The ABS is brilliant, too. These do run a little more expensive than your average compact car, but they're worth it.

    Wiring is a terrible, terrible thing. I think the best thing to do would be to remove the whole harness and see what you're dealing with. If it's bad enough, just replace it.
