    There was no puddle there before and we found a little bit of the white powder on a hose underneath the car. I know it wasn't road salt because the car has never been driven in the rain or snow and got put away before the first snow...so no salt. Sorry for just saying "No" in my previous post...

    It's all up to personal taste as far as the sound goes...but if you want it to last, I would pick from SLP, Borla, Magnaflow, or Bassani. Flowmaster and Mac are known for poor quality (read, not stainless and will rust).

    I had a high-pitched squeal going on under the hood...turned out it was the alternator pulley. Not saying that that's what it is, but it might be a possibility.

    If done right, dye will not fade. Even if you scratch it or brush your keys against it, it won't wear off...that's the whole point of dye, to soak into the material. I have several of my interior pieces painted and some of them are chipped. I have a friend that's going to re-do them with dye...

    If it's quality he's concerned with...Magnaflow, SLP, Bassani, Borla all have good reps about quality. It all comes down to what kind of sound he wants though.
