    I used to hot lap with stock brakes at 125mph. It did ok SN95 is so much better now. As one of my old machinist said, he had drums on his dragster. "Drums would hold more then a caliper only one pass".

    I'm surprised in as much aftermarket stuff you went with or considered. The hood struts are a prime example of a compromise.

    Bend the fender brackets so the suck it in just a smidgen or add a shim under your door hinges.

    What I found depending on driving setup. I put 150lb springs in mine instead of 175lbs. This drove the spring higher on the strut to set ride height. As you can see it is above the rim lip on the 17" rim.

    In my eyes cutting a core support is not a option. My car is a easily 15K car as many on here are seeing around that value. To cut that off and butt weld back on...no thanks.

    I only do this together fully assembled. My setup is engine and TKO. So much easier doing alignment out of car. A yoke in the trans keeps the fluid from leaking our the tailshaft.

    Yeah I have a agreed value policy for 15K and honestly if I had a total loss to buy a roller and start over I could not build what I have today for 15K.

    Don't disagree there for my setup with 17x8 and fox length axles they do appear to be "pushed in". But with my racing wheels at 15x10 this is the compromise.
