New numbers with plenem and t-body combo

That's exactly what I was getting at. I'm guessing uncorrected numbers could vary by at least the expected potential gain by this mod (about 8 rwhp and 9 rwtq).

New numbers with plenem and t-body combo

I'm assuming you had your dyno pulls done on the same dyno, but different days. Are your numbers corrected to SAE? STD? Uncorrected?

TPS voltage / Plenum & TB Install

Good idea. . . first, here's what they have on their website: "How tough is the Accufab throttle body to install? Not very. In most cases, all you will need to do is to remove the old (or stock) throttle body and replace it with the Accufab throttle body. Our throttle bodies are designed...

TPS voltage / Plenum & TB Install

OK, I'm getting confused again. Here's what I've got so far: 1.) You CAN actually adjust the TPS on a 99+ mustang, but the adjustment is minor. 2.) The digital voltmeter test should be performed when the tps is attached to the TB (makes sense.) 3.) The voltage at idle should be...

TPS voltage / Plenum & TB Install

Thanks. I'll probably check the TPS both before I remove it from the stock TB and after just to make sure it's at least operating over the same voltage range as currently. I would also think the TPS is part of the EEC, so if it wasn't working properly you'd think you would get an MIL.

TPS voltage / Plenum & TB Install

Correct - that's what i meant - use the digital voltmeter to check the tps, not "set" it. Sorry for the mis-play of words. From my understanding, our stangs do not have adjustable (rotate-able) TPS's. However, if I have the TPS off, I figure it wouldn't hurt to check it's operation to make...

TPS voltage / Plenum & TB Install

Anyone know what the voltage should read at WOT? I've got the Accufab TB/Plenum on the way and I just read some plenum/tb install instructions in the latest 5.0 magazine and it mentions you need to set the tps voltage with a digital voltmeter. Any help on the procedure and voltage specs would...

Are my trap speed times low or is it just me?

They aren't low - you are just really hooking well with those Nitto DRs. That wil scrub a little time off of your MPH and your ET!

    Raptor Shift Light

Also, just to be safe, I disconnected the battery during the entire installation.

    Raptor Shift Light

Make sure the PCM nut is tightened down all the way (but you don't need to really torque it down, just make it snug a little past finger tight). Also, make sure you re-connected the ground wire to the metal. I doubt the problem has anything to do with the red (power) wire connection. Most...

Getting MM Standard length Subs welded on. What to look out for?

I have the same ones on my car, and actually helped with the install. The welder will know what to do. Just make sure that after everything is cooled off, take some black rustoleum paint and cover the spot welds and the bare metal areas taken off the SFC for the welds. After that dries a few...

    Raptor Shift Light

Just installed this today on my stang and I must say, this little unit is very cool. The install isn't too bad either. This just might be my favorite mod . . . until I get my Accufab Plenum/TB in a week! I highly recommend this unit if you want a small, stealthy shift light and don't want an...

    Official Tremec 3650 Issues Thread

Yup. I called Tremec myself a few weeks ago and they recommended 4 quarts (but don't overfill; if it's coming out of the fill hole, it's full) of Mercon ATF (Dextron III I think) or if you want to use a sythetic, go for the Mobil One ATF. So much for lowering the fluid level. I still may...

Excellent! I may have to wait on my purchase so I can check out your test results. Please do post!!! Then again, I'm certain the Accufab combo is quality, and if I can truly get it for $380, well, I'm almost sold. Thanks for the info KappaBall!

    Which Plenums whistle/don't whistle???

Is the noise really loud/irritating? It seems like the C & L whistles more than the Accufab combo. If it's really not that loud, I probably wouldn't car too much.
