    I just hooked a 2g alt up in a carb'd car. The alt isn't charging. Am I supposed to put a switched 12v to the lt grn/red wire that originally ran to the cluster lamp? Seems I remember reading that the alt wouldn't charge without a 12v signal coming in on that wire.

    If this is just a street car I wouldn't be to upset, you won't need the sway bar.

    Use what ever wrench will fit the plug, and fit a 2 - 4ft section of pipe over it.... Cheater bars fix everything :D

    Performer Intake + Aftermarket Fuel Rails = ?

    Just wondering of anyone out there has used this intake with new fuel rails? I have UPR rails. They won't work with a stock 5.0 intake (just found out the hard way!). I want to get rid of the stock fuel tank ASAP so I can cut out the floor in the trunk, and mount the fuel cell, as well...

    You can get an adjustable regulator. Stock 5.0's run a tad under 40 PSI, so one that goes from 30-65 would work.

    I'd rough the area up pretty good (~36 grit) to make sure it adheres well.

    Is this a lot of timing chain play?

    Ford allowed for a 1/4" of play in the gears.... That said, $30 for a replacement will get you a brand new one.

    Put a piece of water hose over the snout on the bottle, put the other end in the diff, and squeeze! May have to do the majority of each bottle, then combine the remainders in one, and finish, but that's how I done mine.

    how much fuel pressure do i need?

    Stock fuel pressure for a fox is ~39.5. Just guessing, but I think the regulator would modulate how much is sent back to the tank to maintain the set PSI? IDK if the Ranger is a closed system, but if it's like a Fox it is a return style system.
