    JMS Velocity kit VS MPH Mongoose kit?

    Both are good kits. I just got a Mongoose kit and I'm going to install it this week. I called JMS when shopping for a kit and they told me they use 60lbs injectors because they are easier to get a hold of and keep in stock.

    You can't beat the price of a Vortech that's for sure. Kenne Bell makes a good product too. I ain't knocking them. My motto: "Any boost, is good boost." Skud is going to show some LS1's his taillights.

    Which tuner

    My experience with both. If you have a 5 speed then it doesn't matter which you pick. If you have an automatic then get the Xcal2. It seems to have a better automatic program. But in all honesty, go with whatever one your local tuner specializes in.

    I have never got my Mustang egged but my friend got his Cadillac CTS egged. My dad saw the whole thing. My friend and I caught the ************ and beat their ass. Justice was served that day.

    AC SUX HP

    Everyone I know with a Mustang says the AC robs power like a mofo. Maybe you got a lucky one. When driving my Explorer and Monte Carlo I can't tell the difference. My old Ranger had a slight loss of power but it wasn't as bad as my Mustang. The Mustang is just horrible.

    You could use those off road filter covers. I forgot who sells them but they fit over the filter like a condom.

    Anyone have a part number for the grill pony mounting bracket??

    They were cheaper before. But now that the SN95s are out of production they are more expensive. I bought mine for my Mach 1 grill delete from Ford for about $22. But that was back in 2005. You might want to check a junk yard and take one off of a 94-98 Stang. I think the brackets are the same.

    Are smoked taillights illegal?

    They are very illegal. My friend has gotten many tickets for tinted lights on his BMW. The light has to be visible from a certain distance.

    Oh my God does it rob power like a mofo. I only use the AC when crusing on the highway. Once I'm in the city it turns off. I can't stand the loss of power. Feels like I lose 2 cylinders.

    Some catbacks will rub on the tires. I know my Bassani cat back did. I had to get the pipes bent.

    Sweet. I liked the way mine used to sound. However, the cats that came with my kit did not look like those in your kit.

    Make sure your tires are properly inflated to spec. You can also remove the rear seat to save some weight.

    You can get a cheap one but the cheap ones you have to paint to match your interior. You'd be at the price of the SOS pods after you factor in paint. Now if you want really cheap you could go with the small pods that add on the the stock pillar. But you still have the paint it.
