    I don't spend alot of time in the midwest forums, but some of you out there know me. A week from today I'll be in NC with a new job and intentions of relocating there permanently. Off to the southeast forums for me! Enjoy the snow everyone! :rlaugh:

    Anyone near Wilmington?

    Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully my car is done so that I won't need to have it worked on anywhere. I'll be working at Capital Ford in Wilmington though, so if I need anything, perhaps somebody there can do it. I'll be heading down there this coming Saturday! :D

    phenolic spacer for typhoon

    My brother-in-law is running an Edelbrock on his 88 GT and my wife has a Typhoon on her 87 GT. We'd tried his intake spacer on her car but didn't use it because of strut tower brace issues. It did sit on there and it looked like the bolt holes were going to line up just fine. I can't say 100%...

    93 Cobra with Hatch Problem

    Boy, that's a good one. See if you can lay the rear seats down, crawl into the hatch/cargo area, and unscrew the trim panel on the underside of the hatch. You'll probably have to "pop" the hatch to get more working room. From there you should be able to get to the latch (or most of it) to fix...

    Short of lengthening the wires, or removing the connectors off of the clip and tucking it under the rear of a strut tower brace I don't think you've got too many options...... `

    new tb cant get to idle right

    BBK throttle bodies are usually decent ones. I'm a little surprised to see somebody with a problem. Regardless, did you try adjusting the throttle position sensor? Or did you forget to tighten down some of the inlet hose clamps as that would cause an idle concern as well.

    No, that isn't supposed to happen. The damper bolt goes directly into the crankshaft.

    You're going to have to have a buddy pace you to find out exactly how far off your speedo is, and buy a different gear according to that.

    Did you have the engine up to operating temperature when you tested it? If not, then that's where your codes came from.

    You'll need to visit the dealer and purchase a remote specifically for a dealer installed keyless entry kit as the factory option remotes will not work. Programming the add on remotes is a pain too.....:bang:

    Try turning up the fuel pressure a few lbs, assuming you have an adjustable regulator.
