    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Open your eyes dude... and stop believing the rhetoric being fed to you! Our economy is barely holding ground and is mostly doing so because, as you mention, other nations are keeping us afloat. If, on the other hand, we continue spending at the current pace even China won't be able to finance...

Questions about AIRAID CAI...anybody own one?

Air Aid intakes are, by no means, the cheapest. Their claim to fame is making intakes for TRUCKS not cars. That is the major reason why you haven't seen a lot of interest in them. Beyond that you'll find that certain intake manufacturers have a dedicated following on certain Mustang forums...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Hate to burst your bubble dude but you're trying to find a simple answer to a complex problem. Sales do seem to be down right now but its not necessarily for the reasons you suspect. Contrary to the propoganda (READ: LIES) fed to us by our Federal Government our economy is in a world of...

Questions about AIRAID CAI...anybody own one?

Aesthetically speaking the MRT is, by far, the nicest looking of the CAI's on your list. I know quite a few people on another forum who own Air Aid CAI's. If you follow the link at the bottom of my signature you can get all sorts of information from them directly.

    cold air kits??

If I recall correctly the CAI's that don't require tunes typically use MAF housings of approximately the same diameter as stock.

    Ford Racing

From what I recall many, if not most, Ford Racing parts have a one year warranty. It sounds like your dealership simply does not want to honor the warranty (maybe they are not a true Ford Racing dealer or just don't care). Personally I'd suggest finding a different dealership as I'm betting...

    cold air kits??

There are actually others that do NOT require a tune, such as the Mustang Racing Technologies (Street Smart Design) intake and the Air Aid intake. MRT Intake Air Aid Intake

the cute little motor on the dash lites

If the gas cap was the culprit you won't see the "Check Engine" light go out immediately. It'll take some time before you see a change.

Ford to cut 4,000 white-collar jobs

The way things are going right now Chrysler may end up as number 2... I see the American car manufacturers pretty much self destructing under the weight of their own greed. Seems like few in the American car industry are willing to change with the times to remain competitive in the global market.

Ford to cut 4,000 white-collar jobs

One of the pre-eminant problems with Detroit is management. Were it not for the fact that most of these senior managers are fighting to insure that their jobs aren't on the block they might see that part of the problem is management style. Here we are in the information/knowledge worker age...

    guys happy with v6?

I'm very happy with mine... considering I bought the car for 19k its a heck of an awesome ride... even better now that I've upgraded the exhaust and intake. When I finally drop a tune on the car... watch out!!!

    Need tune w/ CAI???

I know several GT owners who successfully installed AirAid CAI's on their cars without the need for tunes. All have been really happy with the performance gains and the results of their seat of the pants meters. :nice:

Is this sadistic or a stoke of genius

Personally I find Lambo doors on a Mustang contradictory and . This, of course, is simply the opinion of someone who prefers to be old school when it comes to Mustangs... :D

    Question

The only challenge I've found with the Mr. Clean auto dry kit is that the soap drys awfully fast on my MG during the summers here in Arid-zona!!! Now they we're into the non-Summer season (here in this part of AZ we have two seasons: Hot and OMG!) and slightly cooler temperatures I've got a...

Can you get stuff added from factory?

eep in mind that most, if not all, Ford Racing parts tend to be treated as after-market parts. As such they are not specifically covered under the Ford new car warranty. Now your dealership may be willing to do this but there's no guarantee that any other dealer will do the same.

    What is more ghetto?

Ok... take someone like myself as an example. I intentionally purchased a base model V-6 and spent approximately 18k before tax/licensing. Since then I've spent approximately 3k on mod's... I'm really happy with what I've created. It's unique and 100% mine!! Since my price tag is still...

    What is more ghetto?

Reading the never-ending V-6 bashing is always an experience. It helps to identify those who are more likely to have Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider posters on their walls!! :rlaugh: All (read: ALL) Mustangs were designed from the same basic platform. They're made to mod!! If its wrong...

    retro grill

Cool! So what did you use to trigger the fog light switch? I didn't recall reading that there were discrete contacts on the back of the switch so I assumed that the ECU and SJB were resonsible for bridging between the GT switch and the fog lights.

    retro grill

The other thing to consider about the GT switch is that Ford will need to make some programming changes to the smart junction box to get it to recognize that there are fog lights. IT likely shouldn't take much for them to do but I don't think most Ford service departments will know how to do...
