    The II's at Carlisle!

Hey I understand. I wasn't doing nearly as much moving around myself this year. No, I believe he's placed the last several years but last year the dark blue King that is kind of painted like a regular early Cobra II with the stripe under the hood took 1st place. I still would like to...

    The II's at Carlisle!

We had a great time. It didn't need to be so hot though. It was just too hot to do much walking around and look through the parts like usual. Got to see and meet some new people. Did we talk and I just didn’t realize it? I'm sorry if that’s the case. If not shame on you for not coming in and...

I redid the #1 tube like shown here...http://www.cobraii351.us/then-i-did I haven't had a single problem with that tube since. It's not perfect but it doesn't get smached or hit anything. Tim

    Building a new website...

Well with the lack of a garage and the inability to work in the storage unit the car is in. I have started to put a new webpage together. http://cobraii351.us. You get a chance stop in and and take a look at the "My Car Project" page at least and let me know what you think. Tim

Magnum 500's look perfect on a II!!

The Granda/Monarch also had a 5 bolt 14" version of the "Lacey Spoke" wheels as well. All the ones I've seen have the "red star burst" in the center. They look to be too much work to keep clean.. LOL I really like the styled steel wheel as they look nice and aren't as "flashy" the car is bright...

Magnum 500's look perfect on a II!!

The wheels that are on that car aren't the factory wheels. (note the 5 bolt pattern) The set I'm getting are off a Merc. Monarch. They are gold and black to match that car but I'm planning on blasting them anyways. Frpm what I've been able to find they are 14x7, which isn't to bad. But you are...

Magnum 500's look perfect on a II!!

Thanks for posting that! I've been playing around with the same idea for some time now. My friends dad had a set of those wheel he said I could have if I wanted them, but I wasn't sure what is would look like. I have and like the "outlaw II's" I have on it now but I think those wheels look more...

    GT40 vs. GT40P for Mustang II 302

The GT40 exhaust bolt pattern is the same as any other SBF head. The exhaust bolt pattern is also actually the same on both heads. It is the revised spark plug angle/position that is the issue with the GT40P head. All the Mustang II headers were made/designed with the old plug angle in mind...

    BEST MUSTANG OF ALL TIME!!?

I personally love all of them for one thing or another, but the one I drive is my personal fav. Tim

    Hedman 351 headers

Those probably were not the swap headers. Those were more than likely the plain 302 headers and thus why you had to make mods, as they are a little too short for the 351W. I modded my 302 Heddman headers to fit instead of changing the body. I can send you pictures of the mods I made to the #1...

    v6 timing gears

The gearset in the 2.8 is a composite/nylon cam gear and a steel crank gear. The engin is NOT an interference engine, and the lifters are solid. The new gears that I have seen are aluminum (cam) and steel crank. It's not an extremly difficult job but not a job for someone who doesn't have any...

    Looking for some parts

Sal, Let me look, I have a plastic gas cap that I just used for the "guts" I never touched the plastic part. It was NOS as I recall. I'll have to find it but when I do it's yours. Also watch eBay, I've seen numerous NOS antenna for sale lately. Tim

    Hedman 351 headers

If they are the set I am thinking of they require the removal of the factory motor mounts and the use of a front motor plate. Power steering is questionable (I don't remember if you can keep it or not). The four pipes come down flat from each side to a flat collector. Tim

Well that's good to hear Chris. I guess I'm glad i took pictures of the pile of of NOS parts that I put on the car. I a little bit of documentation goes a long way... Good luck man, Tim
