    Stripe Removal

    That's what I was thinking, my side stripes peeled right off with no heat or anything and a little simple green cleaned it right up. No glue left just a little build up where the edges were. I just put on my deck stripes so It will be several years before I take them off anyway.

    Gentlemen, for the love of God, take a piece of fishing line and cut that thing off of your doors! Then use a plastic bondo spreader to scrape off any tape left or some adhesive remover. I die a little inside every time I see a car with those on it. :rlaugh:

    Don't forget to add friction modifier (4-8oz.) to keep the clutches from sticking and to work smoothly. Personally I will be installing a True Trac. No clutches to have to replace. It's a little more $, but I don't like the idea of having to keep going back into the rear end.

    Get the original key from the previous owner if you can. I called and kept complaining to the dealer until he called the P/O and got it dropped off at the dealer for me. The way I see it, I couldn't sleep at night knowing someone had a key to my car and could just drive off it it at any time...
