    This is how it would drain from the cowl area. It would drain down the side of the inner fender and find its way in as you described at the rocker/inner fender joint.

    Does your car of long tube headers? If so does it have the lowering bracket for the slave cylinder? I ask because if this bracket gets lose, it would be like driving without PS. This has happend to me a couple times. Just a thought to get you going.

    Which kit are you showing? Isn't the location of the input shaft too far in the middle of that system that the universal joints would be binding? Isn't a system with an input shaft close to the old steering box better for this?

    From this quote, sounds like you are at 10* After Top Dead Center if the piston is going down. You want to be at 10* Before Top Dead Center (piston still going up). You'll need to rotate your distributor 20* to obtain this.
