Can I reduce battery drain from the radio?

Help me understand this would you please? It seems to me that the only way for this to work would be if you rolled down the drivers window, exited the car, closed the door, and then reached in and grabbed the key. Is this what you're saying? With my 05 the moment I open the drivers door...

Which mods to but on stock V6 to get better MPG

Considering that his commute to work is only 4 miles each way I'm thinking that his gas mileage doesn't sound that far off. 4 miles each doesn't exactly give the car much time to warm up and operate with any degree of efficiency.

Phx area: New Stang owner - which shops and clubs?

I've head some good things about Anthem Motorsports on the north end of the valley and Arizona Dyno Chip in the south east. From past experience I'd say to steer clear of www.bieberfever.com by the airport. For Mustang clubs there's always Copperstate Mustang Club. I also recommend checking out...

    Moding '06 v6 for in/outtake-opinions needed

Most CAI's provide similar results out of the box. At that point it becomes more of a question of aesthetics, in other words what do you want it to look like? I personally think very highly of the Mustang Racing Technologies CAI as it combines the bling factor with a carbon fiber air box, and...

    Tuner in Phoenix

I haven't taken mine over to Arizona Dyno chip yet... I'm speaking based on recommendations I've gotten from folks locally in the Copperstate Mustang club. I do know that ADC is a SCT distributor which is a good thing since I'm planning to purchase an XCAL 2 sometime late this year or early next.

    So Exception has me thinking

Personally I think having a project car is a great idea! I'd love to do the same though my choice of Mustangs may not be the most popular amongst Mustang enthusiasts. If I had the time, money, and technical ability I think I'd go hunting for an old 71 or 72 fastback or Mach 1.

    drained battery??

Interesting! I think your discovery tends to support the theory that an amp or other component of the radio is contributing to the problem. If you physically turn off the radio I would think that this signals the amp(s) to also shut down. One other thought (and this is a stretch!) may be...
