    use BP gas for performace?

I'm not partial to one brand over another... they all have ran the same for me. Ireally do wonder how much BP is shelling out for this little ad though. It's not like it really matters, the vast majority of the gas out there all comes from the same plant, only difference being what each brand...

Anyone got pics of a Vista Blue w/ White Stripes?

Personally, I love my Vista Blue without the stripes. But then again, I also LOVE mine without the spoiler which others hate. So to each his own I guess. In my opinion, the plain white stripes really pop off the car. "Standing Out" isn't a strong enough term. If I were to put stripes on m car...

    apperence questions!

I also love the fog lights, and want a billet grill. Unfortunately most of the billets that incorporate the fogs look a bit cheap to me. I guess I'll just have to fab one myself one of these days.....

    spark plug Q's!

The plugs are designed to last 100k miles. While I had never heard of such a thing, that is what the dealer swears. Mine will likely be replaced at around 60k, just for peace of mind. If you only have 4,000 on it, and it's running fine, why go through the trouble and expense of replacing...

    A couple pics.

Nice looking car..... I also opted for the spoiler delete, and I'm amazed how many compliments I've gotten on the clean looking rear end. I wish my 07 had that nice touch screen head unit. Is that a shaker 500 or 1000? I'd be interested in picking one of those up once people start removing...

New Pics of My Grabber Orange Stang

Looks good..... I seriously considered Grabber orange before I bought mine in Vista blue (which I LOVE). Either way, it's a very nice looking car. It seems to me when I was looking at them, they seemed a bit more yellow to me. Seeing your pictures reminds me much more of the old GM Hugger...

If not a Mustang, then what?

If there was no s197, then I think I'd be stuck waiting for the Camaro or challenger. Sadly, it seems that old fashioned RWD american muscle is dead and gone right now, but is making a strong come back. Yeah, I'd love a vette, but that's just slightly out of my price range. Sadly, aside from...

New GT Oil: Conventional or Synthetic

I bought the maintenance plan from ford, so I've got my oil changes and other issues paid for, for the next three years. If the factory is happy with it, I'm happy with it. I doubt Ford will pay to put sub-par oil into their engines, especially if their warranty depends on it..... That being...

Treated myself to a new Matco tool box yesterday....

I think that I NEED one of those, despite the fact that I have no garage or anywhere else to store it in my 700 sq. ft. apartment. I thought rat fink was dead. I'm glad to see that others are out there still loving Big Daddy Roth. I hate to ask, but how much? Perhaps I'll be able to use it...

    HorsePower

Man, If Buick happens to bring back the Grand National, I'd be all over it. I think there would be a tremendous backlash if the new one didn't have a turbo 6, but I'd love to see the sleeper buicks make a return. I don't really see it happening, but I'd love to see the return of the Grand...

    Brake Rust

The stock brakes will start to show rust 20 minutes after the rain. As others said, just drive it around the block. If you want to permanently prevent this, go get some larger aftermarket rotors that are plated to complement those larger wheels. No rust, and bigger brakes, how can you go...

Now that the exterior is done...

I'll be brutally honest here...l don't like it. I just don't like the idea of a dash kit that is supposed to make it look lightweight. Plus I think the print just looks too fake. I wouldn't put it on my car, but if you like it, that's all that matters. To each his own. I DO like that gauge...

    HorsePower

I'm sure that both the top of the line Camaro (be it SS or Z28.... SS was an appearance package for the most part after all....), or the top of the line Challenger (most likely the SRT8), will be competing with the Shelby GT500. Both will be great cars, well designed, and powerful, and I'll be...

    Brakes feel mooshy, please advise

As far as the brakes feeling mushy, it really depends on what car you're coming from. If your last car was a modded mustang with upgraded brakes, then the stockers may feel a little soft. If you coming from a stock civic, then they definitely should not be soft. As far as the parking brake...

    HorsePower

I think one of the main reasons that the GM cars always come ahead on power, is because until the release of the LS1, the GM small block was almost 100% unchanged since 1955. Without any real changes in design or tooling, they were able to get a LOT of power out of an engine they released over...

Who has 305 tires or bigger on there S197?

D-06, stupid question here, but how often do you have to clean your rear quarters? Mine is a daily driver, and even with my measly stock 235 tires, I find a lot of road spray on the rear bumper behind the tires. I guess it doesn't matter either way, I'm definitely planning on wider tires...

    Fast and Furious wannabes

Just like the old saying goes.... if they rev at you, or try and race you, just simply tell them that "my lug nuts require more torque that your engine makes". Somewhat related, but always funny.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=m2bycZa4zKY . Granted, they do poke fun at the mustang, but it's...

    Great Vid....funny as hell

Aside from the first few turns, it looks like both drivers could use some instruction on the meaning on "apex". Other than that, quite funny.... I'm pretty sure the driver in the video is slightly insane....

    s197 cougar

That IS a damn nice looking Cougar concept. That makes me wish even more that we'd see one. The saddest part is that it wouldn't cost them THAT much more to actually produce it. So long as it performed, I'm sure they sell quite a few. But seeing as how they're not going to build a car that...

    Average MPG

I have 3500 miles on my 07, and average around 18 MPG. Mostly city driving, with only a bit of highway, and a decent amount of "fun time". No mods.... But don't worry too much. With only 400 miles, you need some more break in time. When I bought mine (with 1.3 miles on it), I got around 12...
