    As mentioned by kuwait, the EEC becomes the "brains" of a dry system. The computer has to detect and compensate for the fuel levels. Our computers just aren't designed to handle this and frequently "screw up". Those "screw ups" can cause some serious damage. A wet kit will always be safer...

    Transmission Cooler 101

    Im looking to get a tranny cooler for my 4R70W (seeing as how hard I am on the thing). In looking through Summit's website, they have DOZENS of them and I have no idea what to look for. Hayden Automotive vs. Flex-A-Lite ....and a WHOLE lot of sizes. Can someone help me out? :(

    LOL wow that sounds like fun. I had an 01 GT with a 4R70W and added a leather shifter boot to give it that "manual look". I had to mentally keep track of what gear I was in because the boot covered the shift indicator. Is this thing similar (as far as keeping track what gear you're in)?

    If you don't mind, would you care to briefly tell me how it works? I frequently manually shift my 4R70W and I know that it can't be the best thing for the tranny. Why do you keep turning the OD on and off?

    Mach 1 > 99/01 Cobra. Stock Mach's put down anywhere from 260-280rwhp.....pretty much identical to the 99/01 Cobra's.

    I ordered my H 3 weeks ago and it's STILL on back order. I'm getting pretty impatient waiting for this thing. Should I cancel the order and go through someone else? This is aggravating :mad:

    Uhh....I'm an idiot.

    Mine do that too, they just keep turning instead of coming out. Yanking the pins out won't deform them much if you do it carefully. I've yanked mine out and reinserted without any issue. If you DO deform them, Im sure you can buy a pack of plastc push pins @ Walmart for a few dollars :shrug:
