    I would check the pump.. sounds like soemthing locked the pump.. I had this happen before... If you remove the cover from the bottom of the oil pump you might find it locked up... As for the shaft I like the FORD motorsports one.. Summit should have that if you can find the part number...

    Stand to block is 7/16 UNC I use old stock head bolts..

    Try and center the mounting shaft as close to the center of the cam as you can.. this make it much easier to turn motor over later

    7000 maybe on a factory tach but I wouldn't push a completely stock 302 bottom end to that RPM... What does a stock motor and 24's have to do with his combo?
