Hahahaha the damn blue incandescent bulbs were a friggin joke.. The 194's for the HVAC controls still made it look green and it was not very bright. The 74's for the gauges made it appear blue but they were VERY dull..
If changing your gauges to BLUE, DO NOT USE INCANDESCENT BULBS...
I'm glad you're excited bro.. but damn, if you can fabricate stuff, why didn't you just buy all that **** separately and save TENS of thousands of dollars?..
Are you honestly just going to let him **** you over like that and just leave? There's no way in hell I wouldn't be coming out WAY on top from this situation..
The one thing I would have done differently is beef up the suspension FIRST.. it will help you make the most out of any combo you decide to go with down the road.
I finally got my bulbs working correctly this afternoon. I really need to change out the HVAC bulbs now though.. Oh and btw the pic sucks as its from my phone.
Good luck bro... All of my misfire problems have been ignition coil related.. I've changed out about 3, but I just recently picked up some low mileage Motorcrafts for $30, so I replaced them all!! It got rid of my slight miss at idle.
Tried the inverted cone 74's in the gauge cluster and they didn't work... They fit in, but not as snug as the factory bulbs. I'm going to talk to Randy and see if 99 might have a different sized bulb.
Thanks a ton guys!!! I Just ordered some 194's for the Autometer gauges and 6 37/74's for the gauge cluster!! I'll have an extra 194 and I'll see if it'll work for the HVAC controls!
