duraspark II and 14" edelbrock filter

I have the large diameter cap like yours and I installed a 1-inch phenolic spacer under my carb recently (no more clearance issue for the dizzy). if you go to your local auto shop most will let you test fit filter lids & bases until you have one that clears. My biggest problem was the electric...

Got my C4 AAMCO rebuild back today..Oh Man...I need some advise

+1 If they don't know what they're doing, take it to someone who does. Write a nasty complaint letter to them and the BBB while you're at it.

    68 mustang 429cj?

You can fit it as is, but if you feel so inclined, notch your towers. You'll thank yourself when it comes time to change the spark plugs. It's kinda hard to change plugs with a 351C in a 68 engine bay:D

    H-pipe or X-pipe with Tri-Y's

I have the 2.5 inch Pypes X-pipe and their Violator mufflers, fed via Tri-y's. This replaced the PO's hackjob 2 inch w/x-pipe & Flowmaster setup. With moderate throttle it sounds nice with very little drone and won't burst your ear drums, but once you drop the hammer it'll sing to sweet Jesus...

    65 Mustang windshield molding supplier

Only thing I dislike about CJ is their slow shipping, but I suppose you get what you're paying for, as shipping is free. I haven't replaced my molding so I can't recommend a supplier, but if quick delivery is a must, Mustangs Unlimited is pretty good.

    Trick to welding under car?

First things first, clean the $#!t out of your weld area, the better your prep the better your weld. Find a good position where you aren't directly under your weld (as best you can) Keep your beads short, so as to keep your sheet metal from warping. I'd recommend making a mock setup of your...

Optimus Prime - The '68 Coupe

I learned the hard way about grinder kick-back, I had one of those things kick off and grab my shirt. Not only did I get scratched up but the body of the beast beat my mid-section to a greenish-purple hue :notnice:

    Tax return upgrades?

I realize it's not my place to tell you how to spend your money, but I agree with jlangholzj. If you're not intending to keep this car, don't invest in mediocre upgrades. People doing just what you are proposing is making the hobby very not-fun for all, nobody likes a time-bomb. 65-66 coupes are...

    Is this re-pop madness or?

What you've got there is a bad fitting rear valance. The re-pops are notoriously poor fitting, most more so than yours.

    Mufflers

I have Pypes Violators, I like it much better than my old Flowmaster 40s. Idle decibles aren't much different, less drone, but screams at WOT :nice:
