    Does not sound too bad for all that work, especially if you have seen his work and are satisfied with it. I stripped my own car and had alot more hours in it than I thought it would take from paint to metal to epoxy primer. Cost per hour stacks up real quick

    2200-2800 would have better streetability. remember with a stroker your motor will stall up in the highter rpm range versus a stock 289/302.

    Yeah, you can get by using a small compressor for primer. I would primer it as I go that is what I did and I primed it outside. You will be sanding this primer down down anyway, so if you get some trash in it you will be fine.
