    Fuel pressure gauge

Like everyone else said, mounting a mechanical fuel pressure gauge in this manner is asking to be burned alive. If you are going to do it, do it right: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ATM%2D5282&N=700+400442+115&autoview=sku This will connect to the line in...

    Rolling fender lips?

I asked the local fab shop what they charge to do this, and if they have the tool. They told me they do not roll fenders because you will have distortion in most cases. What they do and have done for many years is cut the majority of the lip off with a cut-off wheel, then a little paint on the...

Help Diagnose my low rwhp issue. Any experts?

As long as the valves don't float, the springs should not be too soft. Might want to call a cam expert to give what your cam specs are and what they would recommend for your set-up. My thought would be too little lift/duration to fill the cylinders, but that is just a stab in the dark. Stan

    tko 500 swap

Edit to my earlier post, the T5 and TKO I think are different bellhousings. I installed my TKO600 with a quicktime bell, and it is listed for T5, TKO 500/600, but I forgot it has a few tranny bolt patterns. Stan

Safest Jackstand Practice on 1990 Mustang

Some ideas that might help. Just put a TKO in and about to install the 9". With doing the 5 lug convert up front you may want to go a different route than me, or maybe do one end at a time. Stan

    Intake oil return pops out!

The PCV has a check valve, but they are not 100% sealing, especially not under boost. The reason for the PCV is to incorporate the check valve to prevent backfires from the 1:1,000,000 chance they would cause a boom in the crankcase/upper block cavity. Stan

May have solved Braided Fuel line problem!

Fuel systems seem to be the hot ticket right now, doing the same here. The two fittings from Summit, are for newer Mustangs and LS1s. The list a 5/16 and 3/8, but we need a 1/4" and 5/16", so use the 5/16 for the feed line, the return we are still SOL. The other three links: Steeda...

    rear shocks

I had a similar issue last year. One was the right shock, the other too wide, I took it back and had them find me the right one. If you want to save some change, come to Vineland next week and I will give you my one year old ones, standard Advance Auto version, going coil-overs. Stan

Found oil puddled on timing cover (pics)

Yellow94, Check around the distributor, there is an o-ring that seals the distributor that gets pretty hard over time, I once had blow by making oil come out there, a new o-ring stopped that. But the oil did lay on tip the water pump like yours. Stan

9" Housing Ends with 96 GT Disk Brakes?

There are all types of 9" ends out there. Mark Williams does an 8.8 upgrade that allows the use of stock brakes, ABS and all. Strange has 9" Mustang bolt-in retrofit rears that require there SVO brake kit or similar. The only rear difference is making sure the caliper mount bracket on the...
