    Good job finding the problem! Be careful when installing the new canister that the o-ring seals on the lines & vent solenoid do not get damaged. Putting a little bit of grease or some other lube will help.

    That is mostly true, and it doesn't just apply to the 2011 3.7 Mustang. The thing to take note of is to use the lowest octane gas you can without having any detonation. Using higher octane gas than needed can cause hard starts and it is certainly a waste of money if you don't need it.
