What Did You People With PBR Do For Brake Lines

I used stock '99+ lines and Matt's 3-2 kit, and used the adapter fitting on the passenger side. I did have to buy a new T-fitting (Weatherhead 7914) because the one in Matt's kit had the threads cut in such a way that the fitting, when screwed into my prop valve, pointed toward the front of the...

SN95 Rear End fit in fox?

I dunno what you guys are talking about, but I compared my e-brake handles next to each other after I pulled the stocker out, and the SN95 was definitely different. It works great and I haven't had any problems with it. Brian

SN95 Rear End fit in fox?

I used an SN95 e-brake handle and it works great, no welding required. Brian

    I Bought an 86 SVO...

Another one? Jerk. :p I wish I had room - I was considering Mikeyfyr's silver '86 out in Reno, but I just don't have room for another car. :( Brian

New Member... Helping a Girl Build a Race Ening

It's a pretty simple motor to work on. I've never torn into any engines before, and I've been building my 2.3T from a bare block since Christmas break. You sound fairly experienced, so you shouldn't have a problem with it. (shameless pic whoring, lol) Brian

    just venting

Bored and stroked, I'm guessing. I hate it when people use "bored" as if it actually increases displacement significantly. What crank did you use? Brian

    The Boosted Pony Lives!!

JD's went out of business? Must've been very recent, because I ordered a Kirban a while back and it was here when I got home from WFC8. It was like $70 shipped. Brian

    Fuel, and boost boundries

No chit....just need to get the rearends swapped between my buddy's '86 LX (sold to his brother-in-law) and his '86 Saleen so that both cars roll, and then we should be able to juggle the LX, Saleen, SVO, and my car in the 2-car garage to get my swap done. :) Brian

He got banned from here in the days of the Posse....I think I saw the pic I referred to on FEP (four-eyed pride). Yes, I'm swapping soon.....not sure how soon, but the motor is damn near done, so now I'm just waiting on garage space. :) Brian

    Rear disc brake lines

Go to Napa or Carquest and ask for two Weatherhead 7818 fittings. These will allow you to bolt your stock hardlines up to the SN95 softlines. You will have to bend the hardline out of the way a little, but it doesn't interfere with anything and beats the hell out of cutting and flaring, IMO...

    The Boosted Pony Lives!!

That's a crazy trap for a 15.0, but I think I remember hearing that that's kind of a Gtech thing (high trap speeds). Turbo cars feel faster than they are, so that may be pretty accurate. Brian

    Fuel, and boost boundries

I'm probably going to wrap mine as well. I saw a pic of Gator's car and he's got black header wrap on all his IC pipes, and it looks pretty nice. Plus it means I won't have to worry about what the actual pipes and welds look like. ;) Brian

Beat me to it, nobody can spell "solenoid" correctly. Brian

Did you rig up the BCS? Premium switch ain't gonna do much without that, I think. I would just keep the boost down until you can get a good tune. Brian

Would you like a more powerful GT? Would you sacrfice the V8 engine for it?

And for others of us, the thought of a 4 cylinder turbo in a Mustang conjures up the days when it was the highest-performance car of the lineup. I wouldn't mind seeing a V8 for the GT/Cobra, and a turbo 4, maybe the Duratech 2.3/2.5, in the base car instead of the V6. Brian
