    +1 for ebay, or better yet check the classifieds of sites such as this one for a used piece. It took a bit longer to find what I wanted but I ended up paying about half what I would have for brand new pipes.

    Since you live in Canada and I'm pretty sure they salt the roads up there you should get something made out of stainless steel. All the ss midpipes are going to be around $500 US give or take $50. You really might as well get a MRT if you are serious about an H.

    If noise pollution is a concern in your state you can get a muffler that will be relatively quiet at idle and loud under load. I'm a fan of the Magnaflow/MRT combo personally:) Depending on the state it also might be a good ideal to have cats.

    If you do get one make sure it is made out of plastic, metal ones turn into hot air induction kits once they soak up engine heat. I really didn't notice much of a difference when I installed K&N unit. Perhaps it was a little more willing to rev but there wasn't an appreciable gain in power...
