    Auto to Manual, good idea??

    Maybe .2-.3 at the most, but the fun factor might be a bit higher for you. The only reason you will be faster than an auto is your launch rpms, but a higher stall tq in the auto usually equals or beats equally modded manuals. Auto's lose a bit more power through the trans, but makes up for it...

    JLT a no no

    Wow, never had an issue with mine, but it was a bit close to the oil fill cap. I just made the adjustment where it connects to the tbody...pulled it back a bit, and its not even close now.     header options..

    I say go with bassani mid length's since u already have their xpipe. The dif in performance btwn the long tubes are very minimal and you dont have to worry about clearence. I picked up .2+ and over 2mph in the 1/4 with mine.

    GT 500 > C6 Vette

    TRUE DAT!!! From what ive read, in many mags I might add, most well driven 06 z06's trap 123+ in the 1/4 and gt500's trap a best of 117 on a darn good day, but mostly 114-115's. Just gotta drop about 400+ lbs off the gt500 and it will trap 120+ with ease.

    Loss of advertised drop with H&R sport springs

    About 4 years ago, I had the hr sport springs and didnt drop the front as much as Id thought, even after a month. I was upset about it at first, but I eventually just went to a drag type suspension which was way better. Gotta get the super sport for the best drop IMHO.

    Thx...after reading how some guys are using 3600-4000 stalls, wish I would have gotten it higher, but it does take off like a muther as is. My friends say stalling it a bit higher will net me about a .1 or .2 better e.t.s. I think Ill just leave it for now as Im getting vt stage 2's soon...

    Its a decent car, but that vette would probably smoke it though. Never thought Id see the day where a mustang would weigh in at 4K lbs. 500 hpwr/4K lbs is nothing to be proud of from ford, but get it down to 34-3600lbs and it would be pretty good. The mustang is dam_ near as heavy as a crown vic.

    who has an Optima Battery?

    The yellow top is a deep cycle battery. Will last longer and is better for all around performance. Ive had mine for 4 years and my car is a cop/patrol car with all kinda electronic crap in it.

    Yeah, I can only foot brake to 2k on the street and about 22-2400 at the track. What do u run launching from idle? My times didnt really change from idle or footbrake...idle launch doesnt spin the tires, but footbraking does if I dont get it right.
