    Yeah, the drilling the plastic sounds like a bad plan to me too. I guess your only option RysRed is to go with the t-stat housing route. I currently have the sending unit for my Autometer gauge in the t-stat housing, but I can't really tell if it works good cause the gauge is screwed up right now.

    I agree, you can't get much better than a Prochamber & Flows. I also agree that you can't attribute how rich or lean a car is running necessarily by the exhaust sound alone. The popping is just something that most cars with off road pipes do.

    ... :scratch: I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but all PI intakes with the aluminum crossover have that spot.

    Yep, I'm going to use a little on each port, around the edge of the NPI gasket. As for the second temp sensor, I'm going to drill and tap this spot on the crossover. If you've got a '96 or '97 year car, that freeze plug in the block is IMPOSSIBLE to get to because of the motor mount, so that's...

    What oil weight to use for Rear Gear???

    According to my Haynes book, for a 8.8 Traction-Lok axle it's SAE 80W-90 GL-5 gear lubricant, plus 4 oz. of friction modifier. I'm not sure whether or not your Cobra has the same specs since it's IRS, but I'd think so. :scratch:

    Thermostat goes in first, then the o-ring. Torque the bolts to 15 to 22 ft. lbs. :nice:

    It's probably the mufflers more than anything. My brother had some Ultra Flo's with an offroad H-pipe on his 96 Cobra and his made all kinds of crackling and popping. It's normal.

    Attention: Ford C spring users

    When your car was aligned after the install, did the alignment shop set the alignment back to factory specs, and if so have you had any unusual tread wear problems? I'm still having trouble with with my car. (see thread below)

    I'm pretty sure none of the rims are bent. Besides, they've been rotated several times, and the wear occurs on any rim, so it's not that. I've always kept them balanced too. :scratch:
