    A few different questions

http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/#Diagrams This has a ton of a diagrams, mostly electrical and some vacuum, for starters. On the alternator, you really only need the alternator. It's best to make or buy a premade kit of wires(painless performance I believe makes one). You have to...

    Anybody else experiencing project burnout?

I forget people don't have as much free time as me....:D I work two jobs and go to high school but those days off are so easy to work on my car till day light runs out. Can't say I feel your pain, but I sympathize with yah. though I can always use more time in day.

    Anybody else experiencing project burnout?

Interior is like a day job if you remember everything right! pshhh. Toss in some headlights, screw the body, insurance it. And you're good to go in a week, max!

    Douchebags that want to race

If you're a minor and drink nyquil or some other medicine that is the like and go for a drive and get Breathalyzer you will go to jail. 0 tolerance rule for minors. Kind of stupid, I think it should be in consideration of what was consumed or a lower level such as .03. On a side note...

    Engine explorer intake

Honestly, this question gets asked so much it's more efficient to google the answer and compare the multiple results on which intake. I believe it's not entirely direct bolt on because of the EGR being internal or external. can't remember the years, but I read about the EGR deal thing not too...

    Douchebags that want to race

Here they apparently call it "digging in" if you spin the tires or get that burn out mark. Though the friend who got the ticket for it I wouldn't trust. He tried to convince me his v6 mustang was a v8 because he had it bored larger..? On top of that he says it's turboed which I have yet to see...

    Suspension-What else should I do?

I'm going to have to pass due to money constraints, as much as I want them D: sorry man I understand what you mean now about the overlap. As far as what you're saying, you're very fair in how you do business if you're a mechanic. The people I was dealing were nothing of the sort, if I asked...

Might buy a beat a** Cobra

I didn't pick up on it, I knew about the 13'' rotors not working with the smaller rims, but I saw the cobra rear bumper, hood, matching paint and thought that it was a lot of work to make a v6 look like a cobra. Though it's actually a gt if it's the 4.6. But yeah it's not a cobra. Fair...

    Douchebags that want to race

This thread got long fast. Though I do like that I know what is reckless driving in specific now.

Might buy a beat a** Cobra

you're absolutely right. But probably for a different reason. After talking to the guy long enough, the truth comes out, it isn't even a cobra. So it's about trash. Explains why in the ad he didn't want to specify if it were a GT or a Cobra at heart. What a waste of a thread:shrug:

Might buy a beat a** Cobra

To start, here is the car http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/3659407822.html Now you're thinking, wow 1100 dollars for a cobra! even in that condition!? Well the guy says the engine overheated. So my question is, would it be worth it? My plan would probably be to sell it for more or part it...

    Suspension-What else should I do?

oh gotcha, and again free labor to that. The reason why I'm going with a 'shop' even doing it is because things that require being on the ground and jacking up I can't do because of :poo:ty lifts, and dirt/rock roads where I live, no pavement.

    Suspension-What else should I do?

Labor is free! I'm sure I could figure it out myself. Initally I wanted to see how much it would cost through a shop and was quoted 600 and ran for the hills. Then I was talking to my friend who is in an auto-shop class and they said they could do it. If that falls out, I'll just do it. I also...

    Suspension-What else should I do?

Not yet, alllll stock and original. Shocks are a good idea, I want to do springs, but can't afford the 200 or so for everything else that needs replacing plus 220 for good springs. I would love to buy these! cheaper than 4 oem rotors too. But what scares me off a bit is the price and that...

    Douchebags that want to race

Very respectable:p I've nothing against a smaller engine car. Just typically when I see a car of the like, it's not with aftermarket, it's factory turboed which usually has moderate power, not impressive power. At least on the street that is. At a car meet they're aftermarket turboed:p

    Suspension-What else should I do?

I'm having my rotors and brake pads replaced in a week or two. I was wondering if there are anything else I should replace while doing so, bushings, which kinds and so on. I also wanted to know if anyone knew of any good places for the rotors are pads, I was planning on going cheap (not dirt...

    Douchebags that want to race

I think that's the best part. I look up specs of X ricer like car and see the turbo puts out an amazing 220 horsepower or something of the like, and the non-turbo is like 100 horsepower. Then account for the heavy 4 door body they typically ride on. I always pull away.
