    Can Door Dings be Removed?

I have to park each day in a crowded garage. No where to park away from others. Every few months produces a fresh door dent/ding. Paint is OK - just a nice small dent. (One of the reason I won't buy a brand new Stang.) Is there any way, any gimick out there that really can remove the door...

    Quick Oil change question

Nah. You were running with little to no oil for a few secs. Even if you replaced the oil & filter all at once, but didn't add a little oil to the NEW filter before install, this will happen. Avoid it in the future by adding a little oil to the new filter.

Sounds like you may have to take it into a shop. Could just be a gasket. Head could be warped IF you overheated.

PI Headswap Before/After Results at the Track

Very nice. Using the 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile converter, you went from about a 15.05 to a 14.43 1/4 mile ET. That is usually over a 50rwhp increase. The link for the conversion is here: http://www.blownstangs.com/misc/times2.html

i went to a ricer car show

Be thankfull for the Ricers. Stop and think for a minute: Would you rather have a bunch of young and stupid kids with high powered cars on the road or cars that make very little power but satisfy their fantasies? Thank God for the imports.

Gotta love the Steeda plates with no drilling necessary. They look real good too.

Alternator bracket w/ PI intake swap

I just drilled the one I had to accept all the bolts. I think I may have had some minor cutting or bending to do also.

    Racing Seat Installation...

If you are handy with a drill, I can't see what the issues would be. It comes with basic instructions, right? Sounds like a good price. I went cheap and bought seat covers. LOL

I suspect the mechanic may be right. (TPS). Fuel filters when going bad are usually at their worst while under acceleration.

How much should a tune up cost

I think you have coil-on-plug and not wires, someone correct me if I'm wrong. You need plugs, oil change, no need to check the timing or the computer if you have no idiot lights. I'd say pay $80 tops unless they replace the pcv valve or something like that. Changing plugs is not very hard to...

Is this noise coming from my tranny?

Thanks for your reply. I'll bet you are right. The gear installer I had used was quite experienced, thankfully. When I 1st had the gears installed I did have a noticable vibration. Soon after, I installed the aluminum drive shaft and it ended the vibration. Yep, I can see the noise being...

Is this noise coming from my tranny?

When driving at highway speeds, I can hear a constant whine sound. It's not very loud. In 5th gear at about 50mph, I take my foot off the gas and the noise seems to go away at that instant. Foot back on gas, noise returns. This rules out the tires & rear end. So, can the manual trans make a...

    4.10s in an AUTO?

From all the years I have been on this forum, most people recommend the 4.10's for an N/A auto. You have made the right choice. I went with the milder 3.73's b/c I lived in NY and felt it would make it easier for me to drive through snowstorms/ice. (Which I did many times.) If it was totally...
