    Spring/Strut Install Question

I've replaced my front springs several times (long story) and let the spindle flop around on the ball joint every time, never had a problem. One thing to watch out for is the ABS wheel sensor wire will stretch if you don't unbolt the sensor, you need an E8 torx bit. I've since replaced the...

blown 2v or n/a 4v? which would you rather have, and why?

In a street driven car... Blown forged 2V > any other Mustang powerplant Sure a 4V has more potential but also has additional cost and complexity missing in the lowly little 2V, at least IMO

    Is it true that....

In a nutshell - a car with a low 60' will have a generally lower trap speed because it got out of the hole quicker

New Wheels on my Mach 1

The Speedlines would've looked alot nicer had they not been black. They're a good looking rim, just the wrong color Good choice in their replacements:nice:

    Pinion angle

I didn't mess with it when i lowered my car. Even i you wanted to the only way you could adjust pinion angle is with adjustable upper control arms.

So i went to a drift competition today...

Agreed. A ricer is a type of person with a certain type of car, usually a slow FWD 4cyl. Cars like RX-7's, RX-8's, 350Z's, Supra's, Evo's, STi's, S2000's, etc. are what are known as "nice cars". Anyone who calls these cars "rice" are moron's who deserved to get punched in the face and...

    Suspension trouble?

You were able to distinguish one week's worth of tire wear? Are you sure the tire wear wasn't there beforehand and you're just now noticing?

    egr delete?

Can't say for sure on gas mileage (theoretically yes) but it will increase cylinder temps increasing the chances of pre-ignition (knock) and increase NOx emissions. None whatsover. Not sure why people do this but it seems to be popular:shrug:

Sun visor problem in a 2002 vert & short driver

Sitting that close to the airbag (I'd assume VERY close in this case if she's hitting the visor) in any car is VERY dangerous. Tell her to try different seating positions. I've seen lots of short women around 5' behind the wheel of Mustangs and I've never seen anyone that close to the visor...

    5.4 intake on a 4.6...would it work?

You need an adapter to run a 4.6 intake on a 5.4 so i'd imagine the opposite would hold true as well. The 5.4 intake on a 4.6 (no one does this in case you're wondering) will make alot less power at a much lower RPM range to be useful, the runners are way too long and the car would run out of...

    MSD 62152

You won't get many comments on this. On COP equipped 4.6's the ignition system isn't an area known for being crappy from the factory. In other words not many people upgrade this area of the car as there's really no need:shrug:

    X2 Joints Necessary?

i didn't use the spacer either. the spacer (which is about 1/4 inch) is used to keep the current height of the car if the owner so wishes. might depend on the year of the car as well, mines an 'o2:shrug:

    X2 Joints Necessary?

Might as well:shrug: You're buying the bumpsteer kit which will lower the outer tie-rods. You want the tie-rods and lower control arms to be level to each other and the Steeda balljoints will take care of that. I have them in my car and the added 1/4 inch drop in front was a welcome bonus

it'll drop a little more did you re-use the stock isolators?
