    Do you drive around town without overheating? If you're not overheating or loosing water, it's likely a bad sensor. 300 miles isn't far, bring extra coolant and you should be okay.

    I'll get the rulebook out about rear axle ratios. As far as subframe connectors, the fox bodied stang did not come with SFCs nor are they authorized by Ford. If anyone knows this to be incorrect, I would love to hear about it :hail2:

    Sorry for the confusion, subframes help stiffen the chassis-no question about that. For autocross, I was hoping to stay in the ESP class, (street-prepared), but recently found out that the ESP class doesn't allow SFCs for '87-93 Mustangs. A speed shop in Seattle can custom make a 6 pt rollbar...

    After my first year of autocross, the lateral movement of the rear differential has caused the insides of my tires to hammer the exhaust and quad shocks. I need a PHB, but $350 to $500 and up. ouch! I have a PHB out of a truck that looks like it could work, it has a ball joint on one end...

    I don't waste my fuel on ricers anymore. See them at the drags and only the fastest two or three would have a chance with my slow GT vert. I do loose to my brother's '93 Honda, he runs high 13s N/A. ouch.

    14.4 in my stock GT heavy vert, though some slicks will definitely help. If you're running slower then that with your coupe/notch practice your launch, you're spinning too much. :)
