    Mileage?

    something I noticed with a 4.6,..... the higher the engine speed, the better the mileage. I usually get about 17-23 mixed hwy/cty and mixed driving depending on my moods. But on a trip to the middle of BFE central Wyoming (kids, dont try this at home) I set the cruise at 104, and 3.5hours...

    Yeah, its a 351W, stock height everything, and stock E7TE heads. But I have about 1.2" of room between the inner fender and the engine. Maybe its the picture/camera, but it looks like you have 2-3" there. :shrug:

    Good choice, I got the 278, and I think its a little too hot for the street. Im having some problems tuning the whole setup, and I think its (partly) to blame. Birthday, huh?? That means your 18 now.... :D :banana:

    1-3-6-5-7-2-4-8. (I think) Now lessee.... I have a 74 coupe, 76CBII, 77 2+2 with Ttops. 79 Mercury Bobcat, and 95 cougar XR-7 with the 4.6. Also have a Dodge truck fetish, but who cares about those on this site. :D

    if you do that, you'll have to block off the fuel pump, and get an electric one. IMO, the best move is just to Port the stock manifolds, they flow pretty good that way. Mstng2 supplied me with my pair. :D

    Yes, but I started digging in closer, and it was for the V6.....at least I think it was there..... Make them check how many rows it has. I bet its the 2-core. If you wanna go with that, I got one Ill sell. Heck, it sorta cooled my 383.

    If price is a big factor, go to www.carradiators.com They had the cheapest ones (if ya call 200 n change cheap :rolleyes: ) Ebay has em from time to time, but the going price is always over 200 too.

    :stupid: I have KBs in my 351W. With the shaved heads, I think the CR is 9.73. I dont have any problem with 87 octane, and It runs :flame: HOT. But Im 5700 ft above sea level, so I think that plays a part too. :shrug:

    Well, Back to the subject at hand . . . . . I think another thing may have been overlooked here. Dumping the clutch at a lower RPM is usually worse than at a higher engine speed. The tires have a better chance of hooking. And That just ads more stress to the whole drivetrain. I havent...

    . . . Will it fit on a II?? Im haveing serious exhaust issues (still) and I was browsing CJ pony's catalog. It shows the Fox-style has 2 U=joints (one near each end) So Im kinda Thinking that itll fix the clearence problem I gots. But Will it fit in place of the II steering shaft...
